    Recently, my husband and I spent a weekend away from each other. He went to Chicago to spend time with his younger sister, and I stayed home with Matteo and our three dogs. My husband and I don’t always share the same interests. For instance, Football is something he loves, and I don’t. And that’s one of the things I love about our marriage, having our own differences and interests. These are opportunities for us to do things apart, to be our own self. Then come back feeling recharged.  During this time, I was able to spend some quality time with my son. We did some fun activities, had takeaways, spent a day at the farm, and just really enjoyed our time together.
