The sharp lawyer, Alexa Van Owen has many tricks up her sleeve to convince the jury that this man is guilty. And it's really a problem that Ricardo Diaz has everyone from the judge to the jury under his control. Despite calling some witnesses that give some damning evidence against Oliver, Diggle may have something that could actually get him out of this mess. Green Arrow shows up in court, but under the hood seems to be Tommy Merlyn. This puts some reasonable doubt in the heads of some, but when Laurel takes the stand Diaz expects her to put the nail in the coffin. Though she may have the guts to finally make a difference. This week we find "Shifting Allegiances" that could either take Ricardo Diaz down, or be bad for the good guys. Oliver is trying to get Anatoly to see that his allegiance is misplaced, and even gets him an opening back into the Bratva. But Anatoly seems to appreciate his new place with the Dragon, so he delivers Oliver right to him. Curtis and Dinah welcome home Rene from the hospital and they are hoping to stop some of Diaz's operations. They even get some assistance from Diggle's new ARGUS team, but Wild Dog is a little more Wild Dog when he realizes that Zoe could be in danger of losing her dad if he dies on a mission. Quentin gets a visit from Diaz and learns that Laurel has been working closely with him and can't get out of her dangerous alliance. And it all ends when Ricardo sends Oliver to the police for a trial that could end it all for Green Arrow. The "Fundamentals" of Oliver's mission has always been to save his city. But the city council is very close to impeaching him and only some strong evidence will help Oliver's case. Fortunately, Felicity has some evidence. Unfortunately, it points to him being the Green Arrow. And that's when Oliver's day really starts to fall apart. After losing his temper on William, Felicity asks for a break. Then Adrian Chase shows up in the bunker! Oliver realizes quickly that it's all a hallucination, thanks to Diaz and his Vertigo. But it brings to light his greatest fear: Himself. So Oliver goes back to basics, dresses as "The Hood" and goes after Diaz all by himself. Count on your "Brothers in Arms" to always have your back. Dinah takes her very small group of honest, loyal cops to begin the hunt for Diaz and his men. They begin by arresting Anatoly, but don't think it's going to be that easy. There are just too many people in the city with ties to Diaz. Even with help from the Mayor himself, Anatoly is not held very long. And to top it off, the bad guys are starting to take out the remaining good cops. Oliver can't even weed out the corrupt officials without fallout. He fires the DA and the Captain, but they go out swinging with some serious allegations against the mayor. Diggle is still holding a grudge against not getting the hood, but he's not sure why until he talks to Lyla. After a successful Vertigo sting with Green Arrow, he finally comes to a shocking realization: He's not happy with Oliver's leadership and decides to make it on his own. "The Thanatos Guild" is after Thea and the knowledge that they think she possesses. The Guild is a branch of the League of Assassins that Malcolm Merlyn started before he died. They're looking for a map that he left behind and only Thea Queen can get it for them. Nyssa al Ghul isn't too keen on letting them get it though, so she goes to warn Thea before the get there. This newest threat has caused a little snag in Thea and Roy's departure from this chaotic life. But the Guild isn't going to leave them alone until they get what they want. So Thea dons the red hood again to track down the map. Once they get it, Felicity does her best to discover what's on it, while her sister wife Nyssa looks over her shoulder. Roy is getting a little irritated that they keep getting pulled back in, but Thea isn't so sure she wants to escape this life now. This makes Oliver think about his choice to give up the hood too. A "Doppelgänger" can cause a lot of problems if they pretend to be your daughter and join up with the new criminal boss in town. Laurel goes to the press and claims to be the real Laurel Lance. This insures her protection by Oliver so she won't reveal his true identity to the public. As long as the good Mayor can keep Dinah away from her, that arrangement may work out ok. But then the prosecutors reveal that they will present Roy Harper as a key witness in the case against Green Arrow. The team does all they can to track down Roy and rescue him, but he's being held and tortured by some pretty bad guys, who are all minions of Ricardo Diaz. Thea is even so desperate to rescue Roy that she suits up too. But Diaz is smart, and he seems to know everything about the team. In an attempt to gain their trust, Black Siren steps up and gives them the information they need to get Roy to safety. It works, and luckily he gets away with Thea. To absolutely nobody's surprise however, Black Siren is not as good she is trying

Star City is headed for a "Collision Course". Now that Cayden James is dead and can no longer get them all the money back that he extorted, Oliver has 48 hours to find a solution before everything begins to shut down. With a little help from Felicity they discover that it was Laurel that withdrew all the money, but she's currently in hiding with Quentin, who thinks he can get through to the good girl deep inside. Meanwhile Team 2... has no leads either. Plus, Dinah is out for blood as she seeks vengeance for the death of Vince. Oliver thinks that maybe Curtis and crew have Laurel, but when they very rudely infiltrate their hideout, they discover she's not there, and manage to anger everyone even further. That leads Curtis to tracking Oliver's team to Quentin's hideout and disabling Diggle's implants. Now it's team against team. Protect Laurel or kill her? It's a race to save Star City from "The Devil's Greatest Trick". Now that Vince has provoked Cayden James, he promises Oliver that he will detonate his bomb and destroy Star City at midnight. Oliver desperately tries to reason with James and gives him proof that it wasn't Green Arrow that killed his son. Cayden's a smart guy and realizes that he's made a mistake, but he's going to go ahead and destroy the city anyway, unless Oliver delivers his former allies to him in order to find out who the real killer is. Our heroes even ask the second team to help them out. But Dinah's a little preoccupied with the whole vengeance against Black Siren thing. The whole city prepares for disaster and is losing hope. Except of course Quentin. He has hope that bad Laurel has a glimmer of light still left inside. She denies it, of course, even after unleashing chaos on the reunion of bad guys and getting shot by Dinah. At least Oliver stopped the bomb. But who was the real kingpin in this whole scheme? Will everyone's determination to stop Cayden James and his siege of the city be "All For Nothing"? With Star City's money running out, the time for Oliver to stop the madman is also almost up. But Dinah's team has an ally on the inside. It looks like Vince really is trustworthy, because he's willing to get some information straight from Cayden's main computer. But the bad guys are smart and they suspect Vince is up to something. Once they capture and torture him, Dinah is off to the rescue, but that keeps her and her team from finding the bomb. Can you see through "Irreconcilable Differences"? After discovering that a member of the team has betrayed them and agreed to testify against Oliver, he decides to track them to discover who it is. It looks like it might be Dinah when they see her talking to her ex-boyfriend Vigilante. Plus, Cayden James abducts Quentin and demands a new tech device to destroy the city. They don't take Dinah because the trust is broken. But Rene confesses it was him. This tenuous situation will have to wait though, until they get Lance back. Once they do, it looks like they're not going to get past this after all.
