The two break down the Panthers 3-1 loss to Carolina. The Cats were slow coming out of the gate after the Hurricanes scored on their first shift. Game was over after the first 17 minutes where the Lightning got their chances off the rush. The main story of Monday night was a knee-on-knee collision from Nikita Kucherov on Matthew Tkachuk just before the first period ended. Kucherov was assessed a five-minute major and a game misconduct. Tkachuk was able to return to the game 2 minutes into the second period, but that was not the first of the Panthers players getting banged up as Carter Verhaeghe and AJ Greer were hobbled after delivered some hard checks. The two break down the Panthers' 7-5 win over the Philadelphia Flyers, where the Panthers were up by as many as three goals, but the Flyers found a way to come back and even take the lead to get up by a goal a third of the way through the third period.
