On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Nich Fairbanks(@prudentia0) for another edition of Fairbanks Friday. The two break down the Panthers 3-1 loss to Carolina. The Cats were slow coming out of the gate after the Hurricanes scored on their first shift. The Cats were outshot at one point 13-1, and Paul Maurice in the middle of a TV timeout ripped into his team. AJ Greer also provided a bit of honesty during an intermission interview on the teams play in the first period. The Panthers were able to tie the game in the second period thanks to Anton Lundell off the Panthers getting it in deep and supporting the forechecker. Florida was starting to control play, and then it deflated like a balloon after Jaccob Slavin scored with the Canes crashing the net, and Sergei Bobrovsky a bit frozen after making a stop on the first shot on net before the Canes took the lead.
