On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Alex Krutchik(@AlexKrutchikFOF) to break down last night's 4-0 Panthers loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning from Sunrise. Game was over after the first 17 minutes where the Lightning got their chances off the rush. The main story of Monday night was a knee-on-knee collision from Nikita Kucherov on Matthew Tkachuk just before the first period ended. Kucherov was assessed a five-minute major and a game misconduct. Tkachuk was able to return to the game 2 minutes into the second period, but that was not the first of the Panthers players getting banged up as Carter Verhaeghe and AJ Greer were hobbled after delivered some hard checks. Niko Mikkola also missed the entirety of the third period on Monday. What mattered was not the final score, but the Cats going into the holiday break with as little injuries as possible as they still lead the division at 22-12-2.
