Yes, a core 10, something you don't see much in hockey as the salary cap will continue to go up, and the Panthers will only need to add depth pieces in future free agency periods. The Cats took full control after Brad Marchand scored the first of his two goals midway through the first period, the Panthers didn't allow a shot for the rest of the period, and were able to get to their game, as the Panthers had as much as a three-goal lead in the third period on Marchand's second goal. The two break down the Panthers 5-4 OT loss at the hands of the Edmonton Oilers, where the Panthers blew a 3-0 lead after the first period. Florida chased Stuart Skinner and once Calvin Pickard was between the pipes, the Oilers turned it on from there and flipped the script. Three goals in the second period by Edmonton, and it was a new hockey game.
