A long overdue brief trip to England landed me at The Garden Museum. It was such a memorable adventure that has stayed on the surface of my heart. I cannot wait to return and spend more time there and in other places. You can read about my excursion here. I recorded this interview in December, so I am a little late in sharing it! David Culp is a man who imagines the possibilities in the garden has a passion for this earth. He is a lover of Cottage Gardening.  The Layered Garden was his first book and now, a Year at Brandywine Cottage. I reviewed this book on my blog. It was a terrific day in the midst of a pandemic. I recently spoke to David as we begin to embrace November. Picture a walk in the woods at this time of the year. Noticing the leaves that have fallen from the trees above. In the quiet of the morning, I consider the sound of the leaves gracing the grounds a song to greet the day. Like colorful chimes releasing kisses to make the walk quite the pleasure.
