  • Episode 26 - Joseph and his Comic Book Guide to Growing Food

    08/04/2021 Duration: 29min

Joseph Tychonievich and Liz Anna Kozik have created a book for this time. During this month dedicated to Kid's gardening, The Comic Book Guide to Growing Food is one that needs consideration. I personally see this as a book that will appeal to young people and perhaps encourage them to see what it is all about. So many times books on gardening are very "adult-like" or too juvenile. This book capture s many different generations as well as types of gardeners.   The poem, Dig In by George Shannon was quite appropriate as we want to encourage our young people to dig into the earth and discover the joy of gardening.
