  • Day 136! Dash masternode owners vote to burn the money instead of hiring me!

    26/03/2017 Duration: 21min

My Dash crypto videos are apparently so bad that hiring me to make more according to the masternode votes is worse than destroying the Dash and giving it to no one! Yesterday I submitted a Dash budget proposal to my fellow masternode owners for the April 2017 payment which currently has $450,000+ in Dash cryptocurrency which will be BURNED if it is not given to anyone. I asked for the same amount of 215 Dash another proposal is currently prepared to receive in exchange for making 2 videos per week about Dash on YouTube at https://www.dashcentral.org/p/dash-detailed-2-shows. This is an awesome show which I voted yes on to fund the proposal. In my proposal at https://www.dashcentral.org/p/discoverdash I accepted that I am newer to the Dash community and offered to spend the majority 51.6% of my funding on Facebook and YouTube ads on the videos I made. Using the data from my previously funded proposals, voting yes on this proposal would likely share Dash with 6 million people online. While I thought this m

  • Day 135! AM I CRAZY TO SUBMIT ANOTHER DASH BUDGET PROPOSAL?

    25/03/2017 Duration: 20min

With the cost being $500+ to submit a Dash budget proposal at https://www.dashcentral.org/budget and with me having failed receive funding on 4 out of 6, am I crazy to try another one today? In my newest Dash budget proposal, I am asking for the same amount as an existing proposal by Amanda B. Johnson that has received overwhelmingly positive feedback at https://www.dashcentral.org/p/dash-detailed-2-shows. In my proposal, I am going to offer to make the same amount of videos and spend 50% of the budget advertising the videos I make on Facebook and YouTube. Honestly I have been scared to do this which is why I am making day 135 of my Happier People podcast about this! What if the Dash masternode owners vote no again? What if I do get funding and it ends up being a lot of work I do not enjoy? What if I run out of ideas for videos? What if people hate my videos? Thankfully today I avoid making decisions based on fear thinking and I think about what I love and am grateful for. I love the Dash community f

  • Day 134! Musical Mood Modification?

    24/03/2017 Duration: 22min

Can music alter moods and talk to us? If it can, is making a change in how we feel as easy as shuffling the songs we listen to? After 14 years listening to music to fuel my rage, depression, anxiety, fear, and sickness, I discovered that if I stopped listening to certain kinds of music that my state of being would also adapt. Making a choice to play a song that helped me hate life versus listening to a song of love and joy suddenly seemed to offer more help than going to therapy. What shocked me was to notice how I unconsciously would just start listening to a song because "this is the song I listen to in the car" and then how my mood would drop. It took me getting frustrated a lot of times to see that maybe if I skipped listening to any music in the car I might arrive at my destination feeling better. For more than a year I have mostly stopped listening to music to make space to receive songs of love and joy in my life because these are the moods I wish to sustain and share with you. Giving up listeni

  • Day 133! Remembering My Greatest Fears and Most Never Happened!

    23/03/2017 Duration: 22min

How easily do I forget what I was afraid of before now that it is gone today? Where are the greatest fears of my life now years later? Today would you notice how many of the crazy and scary ideas in my mind disappeared or never happened at all or were not that bad when I experienced them to help you see that next time panic strikes, you will be rid of it soon enough? When I was in third grade or so I remember going on a field trip out into the wildness somewhere. After running out of the bus and being excited to explore, I tried eating some red berries I found growing on a vine. Later I got the idea these berries were poisonous and I could get AIDS from them. As I rode the bus home, I remember being terrified that I would come down somehow with AIDS and end up dying from having tried some berries in the forest. Twenty years later it sounds ridiculous of course but how often do things today seem just as serious that in twenty more years will seem just as far out? In starting producing music, I was brow

  • Day 132! Do I Just Have To Try To Be A Rock Star?

    22/03/2017 Duration: 25min

What if being a rock star, actor, author, or anything I want to be today really is just as easy as making the effort? Being a gamer with amazing abilities was as easy as just trying. Graduating from high school, college, and getting a master's degree required me to make the effort. Earning over a million dollars online required I make the effort to start a business and keep trying at it. Why is it we often have such limiting beliefs that we are motivated not even to make the initial effort to get started? How would our world look if everyone gave following their dreams a try? After months of planning, preparing, thinking, being afraid, watching video courses, believing there is no point in trying, feeling like I am wasting my time, and not trying, today I will try to make music live for the first time! Thank you very much for reading about day 132 of Happier People podcast with me and I hope you enjoy it! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/jerrybanfield/support

  • Day 131! How I Respond is More Important than What Happens to Me!

    21/03/2017 Duration: 26min

Life is not what happens to us but how we choose to respond to it! Would you like the ability to be aware of more choices for how to react when the next time a challenge comes up? Today I am grateful that I wait a little bit before reacting, am more comfortable with some minor discomfort, and I see that anything that might appear bad also has an opportunity. With anything good happening, the same is true in that it often introduces a new limitation which helps me make better choices instead of feeling that I can truly win with one decision and lose with another. As success and failure are temporary, I am honored to be of service to you here today and hope me exploring the habits I have for looking at the events which shape my life situation are helpful for you in yours! My exercise for today is to remember to chose what I say and what I do carefully because these are what I truly am able to influence while accepting that most of what happens in life is not up to me! Thank you for reading about day 131 o

  • Day 130! Quit Any Addiction Today!

    20/03/2017 Duration: 26min

Would you like freedom from your worst addiction today and the ability to stay quit for life? Hear what works for me today to have a great life without drinking alcohol, gambling, watching adult movies, smoking, using any substances to alter my mood whether prescribed or not, overeating, and having a healthy sex life. To begin, we notice the complete experience of the addictive behaviors the good and the bad. Next, we seek to help others with the same problem which then brings us the help we need. Then, we find ways to get our needs met in more effective ways. Finally, we keep carrying the message to those still struggling and practice what we have learned in our daily lives. With a life consumed by compulsive behavior since 13, I am grateful today to have a healthy and happy life because of the grace, love, and help I have received which I try to give back each day. Will you hear what works for me and millions of people like me each day and see if you have any opportunities to apply the same to yourse

  • Day 129! BEING IN A HURRY KILLS MORE PEOPLE THAN WAR!

    19/03/2017 Duration: 29min

Would you believe that haste kills more people than hate? World War 2 was the greatest military conflict in human history accounting for more than 60 million deaths which was nearly 3% of the world population at the time with many other wars contributing millions more. In the 70 years since WW2 ended in 1945, millions of people globally have died in car accidents EVERY YEAR nearly all of which result from at least one if not multiple drivers rushing from one place to another. Amazingly, car accidents are the tip of the iceberg when it comes to how being in a hurry causes the end of life as we know it. How many heart attacks, strokes, accidents, and acts of violence have happened because of the commotion arising from one person dashing in front of another or pushing the body past it limits? While a sense of urgency is wise in a very limited number of cases, 99.999% of speediness in our lives is completely unnecessary. How many times do we drive over the speed limit to arrive at a destination where we onl

  • Day 128! The Faults I Find in Others are the SAME I Possess.

    18/03/2017 Duration: 09min

Would you hear today how I have learned that as soon as I find fault in a person or company to look at my own behavior to see what defensiveness my attack on another is covering up? This is a simple and incredibly powerful tool I use to be happy, discover my limitations, and to become a better person one day at a time. My exercise for today is to spot any additional criticisms I feel tempted to lay down on and judge my fellow human beings with. When spotted, my goal is to look inward and see what opportunity I have to improve! • Day 127! Will Volunteering Daily Bring More Happiness Than A Pay Raise?

    17/03/2017 Duration: 29min

Can we get happiness equal to a $50,000 pay raise with volunteering and charity? For me, the answer is clearly yes because in my personal life today I am a volunteer for around an hour daily and I have never been happier! Research from Happy Money shows the same to be true for others as people earning $25,000 a year that volunteer are just as happy as those earning $75,000 that do not. When I give more in life, I find that I also receive more which is what motivated me to start this Happier People podcast four months ago! In sharing the best of what I learn about having a peaceful life of service today, I know that not only am I volunteering my time on the podcast to help you but I am also learning and remaining accountable for what I tell you each day in my own life. My exercise today is to be grateful I remember the power of gift and charity in my life while looking to appreciate it in new ways. • Day 126! Who Makes More Money? College Graduate or Online Freelancer Using Skillshare and Upwork?

    16/03/2017 Duration: 30min

Will a college graduate with a bachelor's degree earn more than a stay at home freelancer learning with Skillshare for $96 a year at http://jerry.tips/skillsha that applies to jobs on Upwork? Freelancing online is likely to not only earn $75,000+ more in 5 years but eliminate the need to borrow any money! Over a lifetime, this means that living with parents, watching video classes on websites like Skillshare, and applying to freelance jobs is likely to be worth $100,000 to $500,000 more as compared to enrolling at a university and taking on debt to fund an education. Here is the data I used below which was taken from Google and Upwork. • Day 124! SHOULD I SELL MY DASH MASTERNODE?

    14/03/2017 Duration: 24min

For Christmas in 2016, I bought myself a Dash masternode for around $11,000 which is worth $78,910 today on March 14, 2017. Should I sell it? My plan was to buy and hold it for at least a year to get the mining rewards and to pay capital gains tax which is must lower than income tax required if I sell before a year. When the price was at $40, I was thinking of selling it and now it is easy to see I would have missed out big time. What about viewer comments suggesting that I should not talk about having one because it could get stolen? Is my USD truly safe in the bank? Did I buy a Dash masternode just hoping to make money or did I want to contribute to the Dash community? What is Dash? Dash is like digital cash or an upgraded Bitcoin with truly anonymous and instant transactions possible! What makes Dash awesome as a currency online or cryptocurrency or alt coin? DASH PAYS MINING REWARDS TO MASTERNODES! Dash has masternodes which require 1000 Dash and pay out mining rewards every week or two along w

  • Day 123! When Will I Know?

    13/03/2017 Duration: 18min

How often do we demand to know ahead of time what will happen and then feel anxious because of not knowing? Hear a story today as I walk through the grocery store with my daughter at Publix how I experience a simple situation of not remembering what my wife asked me to by for her and then remembering it only when I am close enough to the item to put it in my cart! Today I practice faith walking through life because I realize I know almost nothing important ahead of time and can enjoy great peace each day by accepting this fact as I try to use the information in front of me to do the best I can. Thank you for reading about day 123 of Happier People podcast here with me! Would you try my exercise with me of walking forward today in faith without demanding to know what will happen next? --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/jerrybanfield/support

  • Day 122! One Solution to Climate Change, War, Crime, Poverty, Hate, Unemployment, Starvation, and Corruption!

    12/03/2017 Duration: 22min

Will you believe that all of the worst problems in the world including climate change, war, crime, poverty, hate, unemployment, starvation, and corruption have one simple solution completely within our control? For most of my life, I felt like my individual effort to help the world be a better place was irrelevant with over 7 billion people living on earth. My personal choices felt irrelevant in the big picture because who cared if I tried to live better by saving a few gallons of water or reducing my CO2 emissions or eating a little bit less meat? Now I see that my decisions have a ripple effect that impact every other person on earth. Who I am, what I think, and how I act is based almost completely on what I have learned from others meaning that when I change what I do, that has an impact on everyone around me. Each choice I make today I see as important to helping fix all of the challenges we face as a human race. When I unconditionally love others, I do my part to reduce hate and discrimination. As

  • Day 121! Why Does Asking "What Would I Like To Do" Bring Unhappiness?

    11/03/2017 Duration: 24min

We do not exist separately without relationships which is why asking questions like "What would make me happy?" and "What would I like to do today?" consistently bring unhappiness. Instead, if we ask "What would I do today that will benefit others the most?" or "How may I best serve the world today?" or "What would I love to do today that would be most helpful for all other human beings?" Asking better questions gives us better answers which then make being happy a consistently daily habit instead of a fleeting moment of pleasure that we always must chance. Most of the times of my life filled with depression, fear, anxiety, hate, sadness, and frustration included me relentlessly asking "How can I feel better?" and "Why do I feel like this?" and "What would make me happy today?" and "When will I have a better life?" and "Who can I get to make me happy today and give me what I want?" and "Where can I go to feel good?" and so many more selfish questions like this. These questions often produced answers such

  • Day 120! How Are You and Why I Stopped Asking!

    10/03/2017 Duration: 22min

What has given me the ability to stop asking "how are you" when I see people and start simply looking at them to see how they are? How does hearing this help with being more insightful and loving when approaching people? Where can you look to see how someone is doing and truly help them when they need it? Why is asking how are you really more about getting attention and showing you care than actually hearing the story of how the person answering really is? Who really cares about the actual details of the story itself that we tell when asked how are you? When did I start seeing that asking how is it going is pointless because if a person really wants me to know, they will tell me without asking! Would you join me in considering these questions today on our quest to become happier people during day 120 of the vlog and podcast? Thank you for reading this! My exercise is to notice so completely how people are around me and love them so unconditionally that asking how they are becomes irrelevant! --- Sup

  • Day 119! Fasting for 16 Hours Day 1!

    09/03/2017 Duration: 20min

Will trying a 16 hour fast daily give me health benefits like detoxification, weight loss, improved brain functionality, promoting longevity, speeding up metabolism, managing hunger, focusing eating patterns, immunity boost, relief for skin conditions like acne, and even support with self-enlightenment? After reading the health section of Tools of Titans by Tim Ferriss, I noticed consistently recommendations and testing with avoiding eating for a period of time which is called fasting. Religions such as Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all emphasize fasting in different ways along with Bahá'í Faith, Buddhism, Hinduism, and several others! Tim Ferriss also mentions a great consistency among the hundreds of people he interviewed was a tendency to avoid eating in the morning which my grandfather also did. Today I am giving this a try despite a lot of skepticism from my stomach with planning to begin eating at 11:30 am instead of 8 am after having had my last food at around 7:30 pm the night before. The purp

  • Day 117! I Loved A Dog's Purpose: A Novel for Humans!

    07/03/2017 Duration: 11min

Hear what I loved about reading A Dog's Purpose: A Novel for Humans at http://amzn.to/2my3gpa! The most amazing part of the book was hearing how the author W. Bruce Cameron explains the experience of creating this book by first narrating it to this girlfriend to help her feel better during a car ride in California. She recorded his entire telling of the book directly after the first time he told it and he says in the afterward that the book we are reading is infinitesimally different! I am grateful my sister gave this to me as a gift for Christmas and I took time to read it to help me learn how to better be a dog owner today of two rescue labradors. My exercise for today is to practice what I learned about unconditional love in this book. Thank you for reading and learning about day 117 of Happier People podcast! Would like to buy the book and give me a few cents as a tip for telling you about it using my link at http://amzn.to/2my3gpa which shows the book on Amazon? --- Support this podcast: https:
