What has given me the ability to stop asking "how are you" when I see people and start simply looking at them to see how they are? How does hearing this help with being more insightful and loving when approaching people? Where can you look to see how someone is doing and truly help them when they need it? Why is asking how are you really more about getting attention and showing you care than actually hearing the story of how the person answering really is? Who really cares about the actual details of the story itself that we tell when asked how are you? When did I start seeing that asking how is it going is pointless because if a person really wants me to know, they will tell me without asking!
