145: Are You Heading in the Right Direction?
23/02/2016 Duration: 12minI always believe that if I want to be part of a competitive team, there is never enough. It’s different from being contented with oneself. In this context, I would say that being an athlete, there’s not only the need to be accountable and responsible for one’s actions to perform my best, but also to make a positive impact to my team. With these values in mind, there is never enough. I can never ever give enough and it’s okay, that’s what I believe and that’s how jobs in sports should be done. Even in anything we do in life, making an impact should always be of priority. So I believe that in whatever we do, we need not only to measure our progress but also to always check if we are moving in the right direction, without concentrating all our time and energy on where we are going. We need the basic keys to open the door to success: values, desire, action, observation, measure, correct, process, direction and repeat. Big thanks to Dexter B

144: Stop Comparing, Measure Everything to Improve Your Standard and End Your StrugglesÂ
16/02/2016 Duration: 24minBy now you should know that I believe in only comparing against myself. Many of you wonder how can you improve if you don't compare against others. Yes you should compare against others. What? Did I just say to not compare against others and compare only against oneself? No, by that I meant to compare your own qualities against your records and only compare against others if you are able to resist from judging yourself emotionally and only compare one factor at a time leaving all else equal. Thing is, keeping every factor equal between two human beings is not realistically possible. So if you want to improve yourself by comparing with others, it's not wrong or right. If you can be so emotionally detached from your performance against others, then by all means. If not, stay process focused all the time and improve your own timing, reps or score based on how you execute your required action. Whether people beat you to it does not matter now. Beat yourself to it first. Take a listen to learn more. Big thanks to&

PT143: Fail Forward
06/02/2016 Duration: 02minA lot of times people have tons of things to say about us. They like to push their fingers into our faces to say it's our fault, or to challenge us and say we are never good enough. Even if they don't do that blatantly, we can hear it in their voices, we can hear it in their words. Our mistake is to allow that to happen, to believe in what they say more than what our true voice in our hearts have to tell us. Today's mini dose of inspiration is to remind you that there's no good reason for anyone to care about you. As people who grind day in day out in the sport we love, we need to take some time to step back for a moment to hear our deep voices from within. Take a listen to learn more. PT142: Being Perfect
05/02/2016 Duration: 02minToday's mini dose of inspiration is meant to tell you what's mean to be perfect and the perfect game we all should seek for. This week I was super intense in sending the message about winning and a bit of mindset shift on focusing not on the win but on the process. I'm not going to just stop there. Take a listen to learn more. 141: How to Win Without Thinking About Winning Feat. Nick Saban
04/02/2016 Duration: 22minToday's lesson is all about everything but winning. Winning is paradoxical. Yet humans are paradoxical too. We know we shouldn't think about losing, but we can't help thinking about it. But why is it that if we want to win, the more we should stop thinking about winning? What you will learn today is a mix of mental toughness and mindfulness based on Nick Saban's "process focus" mentality. Where mental toughness is about bearing the day to day grinding, mindfulness is to be in the present moment. I've learned to realise that these two are intertwining skills that are not only useful in sports but to enjoy life as well. Want to know more? Take a listen. 140: "How Do I Become the Winner?" Is the Wrong Question Feat. Terry Wonderle
03/02/2016 Duration: 22minToday I aim to clear up the irony between "how to win" and "wanting to be a winner". I have been making tons of mistakes my whole life in the sport I love by going down this rabbit hole of winning. It's true that winning feels good and many of us do not stop at what we do because we are constantly chasing for the next gold. However, after learning about how coach Terry Wonderle explains how the mind works with respect to being fixated on winning, I start to see winning in a different light. We must have a winning mindset, but we also must know what to focus and when to focus on the right things. Take a listen to learn more. 139: Number One Rule to Becoming a Better Player
02/02/2016 Duration: 25minSo far having spent more than almost all my life competing in sports, I've never seen anyone not happy if they become better. Everyone wants to become a better player, based on the sports that I'm in. You could be in running and you will want to be a better, faster runner to reach the timing you want. You may say you are in the sport you love to enjoy the process, but without improving, how can you enjoy it. They are correlated somehow. In this episode, your quick win would be to find out other than grinding it out, what's the missing element in your training program. You will learn that being a better player is not just being able to execute a skill well, but it's your train of thoughts that counts. 138: Stop Trying to be the Best in Everything and Start Filtering Your Training Programs
01/02/2016 Duration: 18minDon’t ever ask if this program or training exercise can make you a better athlete or not. Those who are mindful of their full potential and outshine others based on that one quality they have do not ask if a training program can help them. You will always get something out of anything you take on. The point here is not whether you can get something out of it, but it’s whether it’s something that you should focus on to empower you to lead you around the mountain instead of take you further away from your goals. 137: Where to Focus Your Training to Avoid Stress and Burnout
31/01/2016 Duration: 14minYes I understand that in every sport we can’t just do all that we loved doing and expect to improve. There are times we need to do things we hate doing if they are things that are required to help us improve. But you need to set a baseline for yourself to not get too close to the feeling of burnout and start hating the sport in the process. Start off first to develop the love and give yourself that permission to grow what you love within it and what you are good at first. This is the exact model that gave me the courage to get started on what I wanted to do and the freedom to pursue what I needed to do in the sport I loved most. Hope it works for you. PT136: How Great Are You
30/01/2016 Duration: 02min“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act but a habit." - Aristotle How great are you? How great do you want to be? Are you humbled by your mistakes to be aware that they will happen even if you are great? Are you humbled by the greatness of others so that you can learn from them to be greater than you have been before? PT135: Do You Matter?
29/01/2016 Duration: 03minWhat difference does it make if you are in this game or not? What difference do you bring to the world being in this team, this sport or being in this group or company? How does your presence help the world? Music: Ticker by Silent Partner

FC134: How to Break Records with the Right Mindset Feat. Roger Bannister
28/01/2016 Duration: 26minThere are 2 sides to this, one, people need to see others do something before they put themselves in the light of possibility, before they know it’s possible. Only when they see it’s possible for others, then they start doing it. On the flip side, people are able to create a vision or just some form of certainty that they can do something that nobody has ever done before, way way before anyone has ever done it and way before they themselves have accomplished it. 133: Replicating Success Through the Power of Consistency
27/01/2016 Duration: 25minYou see, you threw your cards in the air and one of them just happened to land on gold. What happens when you’ve spent all your gold away and left with nothing. Do you have a way to recoup your gold back to make ends meet? The thing we all need to understand is, it is “the way” to doing things that is most important, not the result that you want to achieve, because once you mastered the skill of how to do something, once you’ve mastered “the way” to do those things towards where you want to go, you can replicate your success.
