I’m active in the group a few times daily, posting, doing q&a’s, videos & workout ideas etc. and it’s only the

How can I approach this as its almost like they expect a big discount.  Its abit awkward tbhive signed up to do the EIQ nutrition course.

  • LIVE CHECK IN Q&A #12

    06/04/2021 Duration: 58min

Another episode from the group coaching participants, we cover the below questions this week;  Are ebooks a good idea or are they done? Don't want to waste my time putting something together.  If someone fills the pre-consult form, doesn’t book a call straight from it and you’ve already made contact with them by email after. How long would you leave it until you made contact again and what would you say?  How the hell do you make a reel on Instagram? Have you seen more engagement from them? How to address 'secret eating'. Feel like one of my clients may just be telling what I want to hear with their calorie consumption rather than what's actually going on. Want to create opportunity for them to reflect on what they tell others vs. what they are doing in secret. Should I schedule my week coming or do Plan it for when the gym opens?  As I’m mostly 1-2-1 Advice to help a client who is very anxious about pushing himself lifting weights online feel more confident. he can easily do it.  Be

  • LIVE Q&A Check in #11

    30/03/2021 Duration: 01h06min

This weeks questions covered;  I have my new 4 week programme starting off the back of my free challenge after Easter.  This one is Nutrition, the next will be Movement and the 3rd will be Lifestyle.  All are 4 weeks long and during each one I will be doing free challenges to feed into the next one and also allows clients in each group to move onto the next programme.  I also want to offer all 3 for purchase as a complete package.  My question is, as I am rolling out Nutrition now and Movement and Lifestyle are yet to be rolled out, should I wait to have the complete package as an option until after they have all been rolled out as 4 week programmes?  I have everything for each programme ready to go so it could be available now just not sure which way to go with it.    Hope that makes sense! I have noticed engagement going down in my group lately. I think part of this is due to people returning to work, but also due to my clients getting bored of the group. Any tip

  • LIVE CHECK IN Q&A #10

    23/03/2021 Duration: 01h27s

If you think some of the answers will help people you know, please share the episode guys.  With most clients being online coaching that have 7 day whatsapp support- how do you go about holiday protocol with them, how does it work.. would you extend their program to match the time that you are away if they're not able to contact you while you are away, or what would you do? I don't really know how to play this on How would you recommend about speaking to clients that paused the gym at the begining of lock down. But chose not to continue and potentially ex clients aswell? Looking to get some day time slots filled with clients/classes. I know this isn’t a busy time for everyone but would like to market it. Do you have any advice? I want to run a 6 week group based challenge following my 14day. Not sure what this looks like, would it just be an extension of the 14 day challenge plus training programme and more in depth check ins? Or if you could give me an example of what a 6 week challenge entails that wou

  • Check in #9

    16/03/2021 Duration: 57min

With my challenge group programme I am building specifically for them and their pain points, am thinking about marketing it to them at a certain price and then offering out to "public" at a price a bit above that.  Gives the challenge group the feeling that they are getting a priority offering and discounted price before I put it to the public.  Thoughts on that please would be appreciated. What app do some of the guys use to chop n crop to make insta videos. Would make it easier to make a d post more videos. Challenging - I’ve found that a few clients keep changing their training session times with less than 24 hours notice and it’s throwing my schedule a bit of track.  Do you think it would be better taking direct debit payments from clients or bank transfer? Feel like I need to remind clients to send payments At the moment my main offerings are monthly online coaching and 6 week programmes. I’ve got the 30 day challenge coming up and am brainstorming ideas for lower paid options to o

  • Check in #8

    09/03/2021 Duration: 55min

This weeks questions below, also check out the post on the @antptma tomorrow for a free download of a pre-consultation form/process.  I have 1:1, 1:2, small group PT and larger group Zoom clients. Some have nutrition coaching, some don't. Some do a mix of PT and small group/Zoom. Given that they all pay a different amount for different level of service, would you still recommend having a facebook community for all of them in one place? What's the difference between working ON and IN your business, always confuses me. Is it best to keep shorter challenges (5 or 14 days) simple? Working on a few ideas for a challenge but wary of trying to cover too much in a short space of time that then doesn't give people partaking much value  Ideas for challenges that have worked well? how can I get more leads from people I don't know? How often should you check up on a lead or old client that stopped training with you and how do you do it in a way that doesn't feel salesy If my survey has a prize at the end, will

  • Check In #7

    03/03/2021 Duration: 24min

In this week's check in's we cover the below questions. If you'd like to throw us a questions or topic to cover, please feel free to email us @ admin@ptmentoracademy.com  I swear I listened in the pricing webinar so don't shoot me... But if you offer online coaching as 'personalised' would you recommend keeping the price individual like with a 1-1 or going to more of a 'level' based price plan so it can be set in stone for leads and allow it to have more of a group feel. I find it hard and quite time consuming having to explain the different pricing for different people, and if I want to aim to onboard more online clients this is something I want to have down. Definitely a contradicting question but thank you... With returning to gyms on the horizon what are some big opportunities for the gym floor? How would you handle enquiries from people that don't necessarily fall into your target market, would you still recommend taking them on? 1) What are the best ways to build awareness on social media? 2) Any

  • LIVE Chck in Q&A - #8

    24/02/2021 Duration: 31min

Questions from this check ins below;  When you are creating interest in something from stories are you asking questions or just giving information? What does creating interest ideally look like? When scheduling for the week ahead, I've often had to adjust my schedule as a result of consultations being booked through calendly. Is it okay to adjust your schedule as you go or would you recommend consultation to be booked with a weeks notice?  For an online coach would you say it’s important to have a landing page or a website?, And also still struggling to get my head around the business metrics side of things, breaking it down what would you say is the most beneficial bit to focus on first? Would you plan two weeks in advance all the time with posts? And keep it that way. Also would keep adding to post ideas on one set day aka Sunday after gaining info during the week or do it once a day and set time for that to add maybe one post idea a day. If that makes sense guys  Do you think repurposing you

What do you think is most important data, to track, for PT’s going forward?  Do you think using flyers / leaflets in your place of work is an outdated form of marketing / advertising? • Series 4 - Episode 5 - Week 4 Q&A from the transformation program

    02/02/2021 Duration: 38min

This week we answer the below questions;  Hopefully this makes sense. because you have to assess the needs and prescribe to a client what they need to build the service.  On a landing page for people to buy online coaching for example Would you still mention what online coaching includes for example (check ins, nutritional guidance etc) when they might not actually need some of it?  Once I've reviewed my pricing, do I increase my current f2f clients pricing, even if it's quite a bit higher? Or gradually bring it up? I'm unsure of what to do on this How to up money (I know u just did this but pure struggling with it, feel like my clients will just leave me but then does that mean there probs not the right clients?)  Would you recommend using a social media automation tool to allow you to create and schedule posts in advance? With regards to pricing. I was only working in the gym for 3 weeks before they closed again, so I have been building my online coaching for the time being.  How wo

Dealing with clients who always put up a barrier to their own solutions Where is best to learn human behaviors and habits? Do you think the use of an app like My PT Hub or Truecoach helps with client adherance in terms of them recording there workouts/progress? In terms of an app being prettier to look at then a table on google sheets. If so, what app would you recommend, played about with My PT Hub before but found the programme builder to be clunky!
