Episodes

  • 149: On Creating

    10/03/2020 Duration: 18min

To live a deliberate life, the first thing you need to do is know what your starting point is. What's going on in your life that just isn't working for you or what's going on that you are less than satisfied with? It all starts with awareness. There may be more than once place, but for now, I encourage you to choose just one. Once you identify that place, the next step is to recognize what it is you want to create. Rather than asking yourself what it is you want to have, ask yourself what it is you want to create. (The language you use in living the life you want to life is incredibly important!) Tune in to today's episode to learn more about how you can access the "creator" qualities inside of you - and how you actually need to access these qualities if you want to change your life. *There are about 2 weeks left to the "You are Loved" campaign. Are you going to be receiving the "You are Loved" song to your inbox in about 2 weeks? Make your pledge today!

    17/02/2020 Duration: 22min

This week's episode is dedicated to understanding (in a very general sense) the "lower brain." From my experience, the more you understand how your brain works, the more you'll be able to create the life you want to live and the live it deliberately! www.shiragura.com

  • 145: Living Deliberately

    11/02/2020 Duration: 19min

As I continue to grow and develop in my life (personally and professionally) so will this podcast. I am beyond excited to share with you that the "Getting unSTUCK" podcast has taken on a new name, "Living Deliberately." So, what does this mean technically and what can you expect? Technically, there's not much of a difference. If you are a subscriber to this podcast, you will still receive the episodes straight to your podcast app. And I will still send the episodes via my weekly newsletter. You can continue to expect from me personal "stuck" stories, as you have in the past. But, you can also expect from me more teachings related to Getting unSTUCK and Getting CLEAR, and the endless possibilities you can create for your life as you journey with me towards living deliberately! www.shiragura.com

  • 144 Consider the only constant thing in life is change

    03/02/2020 Duration: 11min

On March 9th, 2017, I published the first episode of this podcast. For the past 3 years, Getting unSTUCK was my main goal in life, both personally and professionally. But in the last year or so, I created a new tool that is deserving as much attention. Both tools are incredibly powerful for creating change and transformation and both are necessary for living an emotionally healthy life. So where did I get stuck this week? With what to do with my podcast that I've grown and nurtured for the past 3 years!?! Tune in to hear my latest thoughts and to learn how you can engage in an exciting opportunity with me.

  • 143 Consider a Retreat

    28/01/2020 Duration: 15min

I am a big fan and proponent of going on retreats. I believe that going on a retreat, even just for a few days, can do wonders for your emotional health and well-being. There are countless retreats being offered around the world all the time. In this podcast episode I share with you 3 upcoming opportunities for you to retreat with me (2 in Israel and 1 in the States).  I hope you can join me on one of them. But, even if you can't, I hope you consider the possibility of gifting yourself a retreat in 2020. To learn more, please visit: www.shiragura.com/retreat

  • 142 Consider Speaking from Your Heart

    21/01/2020 Duration: 13min

My grandmother passed away last week. She was just shy of celebrating her 94th birthday. I flew in from Israel to be with my family in mourning and in celebration of her life. My father invited my siblings and me to speak at the funeral and I responded positively, but I got stuck on how to deliver a eulogy. My almost 18-year-old daughter offered me the consideration to simply speak from the heart. Tune in to hear how I did just that and consider where in your life you can do the same.

  • 141: Consider Being Vulnerable

    14/01/2020 Duration: 18min

I did something the other week that was really stupid. I mean, really, really stupid. And I needed help to fix my mistake, but I got stuck on embarrassment and so I didn't want to share my mistake with anyone. Has that ever happened to you? Tune into to this week's (funny) story and learn how I considered being vulnerable in order to help me get unstuck. And how you may want to consider the same in your life.

  • 140: Consider 2020

    06/01/2020 Duration: 17min

One of my main teachings with Getting unSTUCK and Getting CLEAR is to look forward, rather than to look back. It's not really effective or efficient to look backwards because that's not the direction you are going. Forward is. In today's episode, I share with you all the goodness I intend to create, share, and offer you in 2020, and I warmly welcome you to join me wherever you can! Learn more: www.shiragura.com

  • 139 Consider Taking Some Time Off

    31/12/2019 Duration: 01min

The episode you will hear today is NOT the episode I was planning to publish this week. But, that's how life goes, isn't it? Man plans, God laughs. Tune in for this extemporaneous episode recorded by two of my kids. And enjoy.

  • 138: Consider Getting CLEAR about the Holidays

    24/12/2019 Duration: 23min

In episode 132 of this podcast, I spoke about considering turning holidays into Holy-days after I got stuck during holiday season. In this week's podcast, I share with you how to avoid getting stuck in the first place as I introduce to you for the first time, a new method I created called, The CLEAR Way. I will share more with you in 2020. Looking forward to that!

  • 137: Consider sharing what you heard

    16/12/2019 Duration: 19min

I asked my husband if he'd like to go away for the weekend. He told me "No, I'm going to be bored out of my wits if I go away on a weekend with you." Can you believe that?!? Well, you shouldn't. He didn't really say that. It's just what I heard. And what I heard is the reason I got stuck. Tune into this week's podcast episode to hear how I considered sharing with my husband what I heard him say (and not necessarily what he did say) in order to get myself unSTUCK. Being able to differentiate between fact and story is one of the most important skills in learning how to get unSTUCK. Where can you consider sharing with someone else what you heard, rather than what was said - in order to get unSTUCK and in order find healing?

  • 136 Consider a Redo

    09/12/2019 Duration: 14min

Have you ever wished you could receive the opportunity for a redo? Have you ever said something or done something that you just regretted and wished you could somehow repair it? I believe there are many opportunities for redos in life (although sometimes they may not be so obvious and sometimes you may have to think outside the box for them) - but nonetheless, I do believe they exist. Last week, I got stuck on being stingy when I could have been generous (with a delivery man). And I got unSTUCK when I considered a redo. Tune in to hear that story and how you may want to consider a redo in your life, too.

  • 135: Consider Taking Baby Steps

    02/12/2019 Duration: 23min

I kept repeating the words: "I'm not good enough." "I'm not good enough." "I'm not good enough." Although I wasn't even aware I was thinking that, let alone saying those words out loud! But, apparently I was because my friend stopped me in my tracks when she said, "You must stop saying that about yourself!" Tune in to hear what I was stuck on not being good enough about and how I considered taking baby steps in order to feel whole and complete. And consider where in your life you can do the same! If you listen until the very end, you'll hear one of my newest musical pieces. Enjoy

  • 134: The Getting unSTUCK Blueprint

    26/11/2019 Duration: 22min

Emotional well-being requires knowledge and gentle practice. Learn all about my 1:1 and group program opportunities and how you can work with me to get unSTUCK in your life and in your relationships. https://shiragura.com/work-with-me/

  • 133: Consider Your Choices

    18/11/2019 Duration: 19min

Because our minds tend to think in historic patterns and familiar ways of thinking, we are often blinded by the choices that lay in front of us. It is for this reason that we stay stuck.  Having a coach or a friend who can help guide you to see other ways of thinking can help you get unSTUCK, which is exactly what happened to me this week. Tune in to hear how my friend (and fellow Getting unSTUCK coach) got me unSTUCK because she helped me see choices I couldn't see while I was stuck. Bring to mind a recent stuck spot you were (or are) in. Expand your mind to see other possible alternatives to your story. As always, I look forward to getting unSTUCK with you, Shira

  • 132: Consider Holidays as Holy Days

    11/11/2019 Duration: 19min

I don't know about you, but when holidays arrive, I tend to fall off my usual health and wellness routine. Rather than waking up each morning and maintaining my morning wellness routine, I sleep in and just this small change sets off a negative domino-effect for my day. Does this ever happen to you?  Does your health and wellness routine ever go by the wayside during holiday season for you? I got myself unstuck from feeling frustrated for falling into this same pit hole again by considering turning my holidays into HOLY-DAYS. Tune in to learn how you, too, can turn your holidays into HOLY-DAYS. I absolutely cannot wait for the next holiday to come so that I can put my new learning into practice! Have you joined the Challenge? We begin on Sunday, Nov 17th! www.shiragura.com/challenge

  • The Getting unSTUCK Challenge

    06/11/2019 Duration: 03min

Do you feel like being Challenged? Let's face it. Getting unSTUCK is simple, but it's not always easy. In fact, sometimes it's just really hard - because our minds want to hold on tightly to the stories we tell ourselves and we want to stay RIGHT! Do you know why? Well, letting go of a story often leads to fear of: Who would I be without my story? And so, rather than letting go, we hold on to our stories for dear life. The problem is, most of the stories that are going on in our minds aren't serving us and they aren't serving those around us. And yet, getting unstuck can be hard! So, sometimes you can just feel like you're going down a rabbi hole, unable to see or even know how to get out of it. That's why I offer a FREE 3-Day Getting unSTUCK Challenge a few times a year. This is an opportunity for you to really take a good look at one part of your life and start to acknowledge the potential for change that you'd like to create. When you join the Challenge, you have the opportunity to meet me LIVE each day so

  • 131: Consider Doing Something Out of the Ordinary

    03/11/2019 Duration: 16min

The stand-up comedian we hired for my brother-in-law's 40th surprise party cancelled 3 days before the event. I got stuck on frustration, disappointment, worry, and anxiety. And I got unstuck when I considered doing something out of the ordinary - that is, when I considered taking on being a stand-up comedian for the first time in my life. And what joy it was! Where in your life can you consider doing something out of the ordinary in order to get unstuck? As always, I look forward to getting unstuck with you, Shira Would you like to join the Getting unSTUCK Challenge? www.shiragura.com/challenge
