168: On Sharing a Common Language
13/07/2020 Duration: 22minHave you ever had the experience of feeling misunderstood? Or not feeling understood at all? They say sharing a common language with others is key for having clear communication. However, my experience has shown me that even when I communicate in a shared language with someone else, it doesn't always lead to such clarity. However, communicating in the language used in the world of "Living Deliberately" does! Tune in to hear such success stories and why you may want to consider acquiring this language in your life, too. Enroll in the Living Deliberately Blueprint today! www.shiragura.com

167: On Being Future Oriented
06/07/2020 Duration: 21minWhich would you say is more accurate in your life: That life is happening to you or that you are creating the life you want to be living? Living Deliberately is about looking into the future and deciding ahead of time what you want your future to look like and then living in alignment according to that clear view, no matter how life unfolds. Tune in to this podcast episode to learn more about what it means to be future oriented. Learn more about The Living Deliberately Blueprint: www.shiragura.com

29/06/2020 Duration: 34minHave you ever been in a place where you need to make a decision, but instead you find yourself saying: "I don't know what to do." "I don't know what to decide." "I'm afraid." Lacking self-trust of your decisions can hold you back from living the life you want to live. 164: On Your Greater Goal
16/06/2020 Duration: 18minWhile there may be more than one area of your life you would like to see a change, attempting to create too many changes at the same time may prove to be futile. Therefore, rather than trying to tackle everything at once, consider creating a long-term "greater goal." Having a "greater goal" will help you feel more focused and will help you stay more accountable to your actions, as you effectively and efficiently journey forward towards creating the life you want and creating the life you want to live. Don't forget: If you would like support and guidance as you move along your personal journey, reach out to me so we can discuss the various options for getting you started!

163: On Respect
09/06/2020 Duration: 19min"Respect" was the focus of discussion in this month's "Living Deliberately Together" on-line gathering. I prompted those in attendance to reflect upon where respect shows up (or doesn't show up) in their lives, what respect looks like, and where they want to see more of it in the world. Tune in to this week's podcast episode to hear more about that conversation and the interesting unexpected twist that came from it. I warmly invite you to join me at the next "Living Deliberately Together" gathering next month. Stay in the know via my weekly newsletter and the Living Deliberately Together Facebook group.

162: On Taking 100% Responsibility for Your Life
01/06/2020 Duration: 21minWhen things are not going right in your life, it is far easier to blame others, than it is to take 100% responsibility for what's going on and how you are feeling. Your lower brain is going to do what it does best: reach for the most efficient and effective way to resolve your situation: which is to say, to blame others. Yet, blaming doesn't help your situation. It will only keep you stuck. Tune into this week's episode where I share a few of my "stuck on blame" stories and what I did to get unSTUCK and get CLEAR so that I can continue living my life deliberately.
-
161: On People Pleasing
26/05/2020 Duration: 23minIt's normal to want to feel liked by others. Yet, it's not your responsibility to change yourself for the sake of anyone else. If someone else is stuck on something you said or did, it's not your responsibility to get them unSTUCK. It's theirs. But, if you are trying to live deliberately, it is your responsibility to identify who it is you want to be in the world and commit to actually showing up that way. Are there areas in your life where you find yourself "people pleasing" because you don't feel comfortable when others don't seem to like or accept you? Tune in to hear a personal story that happened in my life recently and how it may inspire you to take a better look at yours. 160: Falling Off Track
18/05/2020 Duration: 15minThe moment you set out to create something new, whether that's losing weight starting to exercise improving a relationship or anything else there's a certain excitement and powerful energy that comes along with it. In fact, you are so hopeful in that moment that you will indeed manifest what it is you set out to create that there's not a thought in your mind that you may fall along the way. But, the truth of the matter is, falling off track is a built in part of the process. And what's even more true, there's actually nothing wrong with that. Tune in to this week's episode to learn more and to see how this can resonate with you in your life.

158: On Becoming
12/05/2020 Duration: 22minThere are many ways to achieve a goal. One way is to set clear objectives. Another way is to have an accountability partner. A third is to check in with your "ways of being." If you are looking to create change in your life, the most efficient way to do so is by focusing on who you are being much more than what you are doing. Tune in to this week's podcast to learn all about different ways you can practice stepping into your chosen ways of being.
-
157: On Getting from Here to There
04/05/2020 Duration: 25minLiving deliberately is about deciding what want to create and then consciously manifesting it. But, if your eyes are only on the end goal, you're missing the bigger picture. Because living deliberately is not just about getting from here to there, but rather it's about being thoroughly present in the process of getting from here to there. Tune in to this week's episode to learn more.

156: On Choosing Your 3 Ways of Being
28/04/2020 Duration: 18minThere are many ways to "be" in the world. Happy, joyful, positive, calm, mindful, loving, peaceful, confident, motivated, focused, easy-going... the list can go on and on. It is impossible to be all of these ways all of the time. But, it is possible to choose 3 on which to focus and ground you. Just like a tree, you require roots. Your 3 ways of being represent your foundation and the place from which you can grow, expand and evolve. Tune in to today's episode to learn how you can choose your 3 ways of being. www.shiragura.com

155: On Your Personal Happiness
21/04/2020 Duration: 17minIf you could make any change in your life right now, what would it be? Most likely you would answer one specific area of your life, like improving a relationship with a spouse, a relationship with a child or parent, something related to your physical health, or something else specific. Yet, there's a risk at only looking at that one area of your life when it comes to your personal happiness. The risk is not seeing the big picture, the whole "pie" as one of my teachers once taught me. Personal happiness is achieved not by fixing one area of your life, but looking at your life in its entirety. Tune in to this week's episode to learn more about taking the first step to improving happiness in your life.

154: On taking unrelenting action
14/04/2020 Duration: 26minCreating change requires effort, but the process is not always easy. You will be faced with all kinds of resistance, including fear, self-doubt, disbelief, and uncertainty. Yet, living deliberately requires you to take unrelenting action towards your goals no matter what. Living deliberately is not about yielding in strength or severity or determination once you set your goal. It's about continuing to step up to the plate no matter how difficult or challenging attaining your goals may be. It's about continuing to show up no matter if your lower brain begins to innocently work against you. It's about getting up after you fall down because you made a commitment to yourself to do so and you want to live your life in integrity. Tune in to today's episode to learn about taking unrelenting action. What in your life do you want to create and what unrelenting action do you need to do in order to reach your goals?

153: Numbing Your Emotions
06/04/2020 Duration: 25minThere are three different ways you can deal with difficult emotions: 1. You can resist them, 2. You can act on them automatically, or 3. You can numb yourself from having to feel them. Unfortunately, none of these ways help get you unSTUCK - in fact, each of them keep you stuck. Tune in to learn what is the most effective and efficient thing you can do with your emotions in order to promote your emotional health and well-being and live a deliberate life. www.shiragura.com

150: On Your Why
17/03/2020 Duration: 21minIn last week's episode, I spoke about what it is you want to create. In this week's episode, I speak about your WHY. Your WHY is incredibly important because if it's not compelling enough, than when you begin to step out onto your journey towards living deliberately, your lower mind will very likely hold you back, rather than support you in moving forward. In this episode, I share with you about what I want to create during the Corona virus pandemic and what my WHY is. Tune in to today's episode and share what yours is. www.shiragura.com https://www.facebook.com/shiragura/
