Conversation Street Episode 114
20/09/2014 Duration: 01h38minOn this week's podcast, we discuss the episodes of Corrie broadcast in the UK between the 15th and the 19th September. Following his time in hospital, Peter's back in the Big House, making an enemy out of Jim after blabbing to Tracy about his booze supply. We're not sure how the Landlord will be getting his revenge just yet, but we're sure it'll be a tad worse than the fruit-related naughtiness that Todd gets up to this week in an attempt to get back at Tony. Meanwhile, as Neil's Atomic Kitten irritates Andrea, a stowaway Eccles gets up Tim's nose at Number 4. In the news section, we find out which Corrie star will be appearing in this year's Christmas Doctor Who, and we round off the show with a couple of emails. In the week of the Scottish referendum, our character profile is on classic Corrie bad guy and haggis muncher, Tony Gordon.

There's a whole load to be discussed in The Kabin this week, including some happy news for our New Zealand fans, and in the feedback section, a listener writes in defence of Len Fairclough. Speaking of getting away from it all, Deirdre and Ken are planning their hols this week, but whilst Deirdre's got her sights set on something exotic, it seems that Ken has something a little different in mind... In the Kabin section of the podcast, we discuss the sad news that the old Corrie set is to be demolished next year, whilst in the feedback section, we ponder a listener's idea to set up a library in the old butcher's shop. Conversation Street Episode 108
09/08/2014 Duration: 01h50minOn the latest podcast, we talk about the episodes of Corrie broadcast in the UK between the 1st and the 8th August, so we do. This week saw the return of two old favourites to the show: first off, Ken's back from Canada and is outraged to discover that Peter's been banged up on suspicion of Tina's murder. It's just a relief that he didn't bump into Roy at all, as the news of Weatherfield Library going up in flames probably would have finished him off! This week also saw the return of Jim McDonald - desperate times have called for desperate measures for Peter, and it seems like The Landlord has got just the 'measures' that he needs... As we're still feeling francophile after our recent holiday across the Channel, instead of a character profile this week, we look back at Corrie's links with France. Voulez-vous nous écouter ce soir?
