Conversation Street Episode 715
17/01/2026 Duration: 03h26minOn our latest podcast, we have a chat about the episodes of Coronation Street shown between the 12th and the 16th January (Episodes #11,773 - 11,776). It's been the theory on everyone's lips for a few months now, but this week, it was finally revealed that Debbie is indeed Carl's mother and not his sister, as we had previously believed. Will this be a secret she takes to her grave, or is it only a matter of time before it all comes out - and does it change how we think of her and Bill Webster having lied about Carl's parentage all these years? Not only that, but does it really mean she should be taking the rap for him when it comes to Billy's death (especially when we know that John Sugden and Theo are much more to blame than either Debbie or Carl!)? Also this week, Daniel gets a shock when he thinks that he's about to become a dad again, Jodie gets her feet well under the table at Number 8, and we say bye bye to Becky, who's sentenced to twelve years in prison - but there are still more than a few questions

Daniel Brocklebank Interview
14/01/2026 Duration: 55minAfter making a biblical-scale exit in this month's explosive Corriedale crossover, Dan Brocklebank joins us for a chat to reflect on his eleven years playing the Street's resident reverend, Billy Mayhew. Dan talks about finding out that he'd be meeting his maker in the crossover, shares what it was like to film Billy's exit scenes, reflects on the impact of Paul's MND story and gives us a look at some of the souvenirs he's kept from his time on Corrie. Corriedale Podcast Crossover!
11/01/2026 Duration: 01h02minTo celebrate last week’s Corriedale crossover, we teamed up with Dingle All The Way, a podcast dedicated to all things Emmerdale, to share our reactions to one of the biggest soap events of 2026. With neither side knowing a great deal about the other’s serial drama of choice, how did we find watching characters we know and love rubbing shoulders with faces we only had minimal awareness of? Could we follow what was going on, and were we able to help each other untangle any moments that left us scratching our heads? We had a brilliant time chatting with Simon and Lizzie, swapping perspectives on Coronation Street and Emmerdale, and we hope you’ll enjoy listening to this special podcast crossover as much as we enjoyed recording it.

Conversation Street Episode 714
10/01/2026 Duration: 04h18sOn our latest episode of the podcast, we chat about all the action in Weatherfield (and beyond!) between the 5th and the 9th January 2026 (Episodes #11,767 - 11,772). It's the telly event we've been waiting for for a year now - an explosive crossover between Corrie and Emmeradale as two worlds collide and an almighty pile-up in the Pennines. We already gave our immediate reaction to Corriedale earlier this week, but what did we make of the episode leading up to it, and did the quality continue for the rest of the week as Corrie switched to a daily, half hour format? We've got the Platts' new baby to discuss, the prospect of Debbie being sent down for dangerous driving and of course, the aftermath of Theo's chilling actions inside the fiery minibus - what a week! After Street Talk, we head over to the Kabin, where we try our hardest to persuade ourselves that we don't REALLY need the latest piece of Rovers history to make its way onto ITV Reloved as well as previewing a few upcoming Corrie-adjacent events th

Corriedale - Our Immediate Reactions!
05/01/2026 Duration: 48minEarlier this evening, Coronation Street and Emmerdale fans across the UK were united in anticipation as the ultimate soap crossover finally exploded onto our screens. Two worlds collided in a spectacular stunt that saw Billy tragically meet his maker (and, we assume, enjoy a heavenly rave-up with Paul), while Carl’s fate - and the survival of Shona’s baby - remain agonisingly up in the air. There was absolutely no chance we were waiting until the weekend to unpack this one, so here are our immediate reactions: what we loved, what we might have liked to have seen but didn't, and just what on earth we think might happen next after one of the most talked about nights in soap for years.

Conversation Street Episode 713
03/01/2026 Duration: 03h19minOn this episode of the podcast, we chat about what went on in Corrie between the 29th December and the 2nd January (Episodes #11,759 - 11,766). We're only days away from the big Corriedale crossover now, and this week's trip to Weatherfield saw some of the biggest stories of the year getting all their ducks in a row before whatever fate may befall them on Monday night. Abi's rumbled Carl's plan to do a midnight flit to Dusseldorf while Kev's discovered his involvement in Tyrone's accident, Billy's seen footage showing the full extent of Theo's abuse towards Todd, and the Swains are - finally - set to jet off to Spain - but what has Becky done to Carla? We had an awful lot to chat about all this in the podcast, and a lot to say about how much we adored Debbie's wedding too - what a start to 2026! Unfortunately, Gemma was feeling very under the weather during the recording, so as soon as Street Talk was over, we decided to call it a day there, but there's still plenty of episode before that for you to enjoy!

The Conversation Street Awards 2025
02/01/2026 Duration: 45minAnother year has come to an end, which means the Conversation Street Awards are back to celebrate the very best that Corrie had to offer in 2025! We've counted all your votes, and in this episode, we share who's been crowned the Top Lad and Lass, which baddie is the year's most dastardly Wrong 'Un which storyline has won the coveted That's Champion Award and more! Due to time constraints, we've not been able to record a 'full' awards show this year, so the audio in this is the same as our video podcast, which is available to watch at https://youtu.be/f_4rafh7Uxw

Conversation Street Episode 712
26/12/2025 Duration: 03h46minOn our festive edition of the podcast, we have a good old chat about Christmas week in Weatherfield, covering the episodes of Corrie shown between the 22nd and the 26th December (Episodes #11,753 - 11,758). Christmas time is here, and you know what? It just wouldn't be the same without erratic broadcast schedules, cheesy opening music montages and a big old dollop of misery splatting down onto pretty much everyone unfortunate enough to live on Coronation Street. This year saw the showrunners putting most of their rotten eggs in the Driscolls' basket, with a family meal for the Street's newest residents turning pungent thanks to the mean-spirited machinations of manipulative Maggie. Meanwhile, Carla's having a pretty rubbish Christmas too after being kidnapped by Becky, who takes the opportunity to seduce Lisa into bed in her partner's absence - is it all over for Swarla? Also this week, Abi makes a shocking discovery about Carl and James, Sally gives Joanine and Shanice a Christmas Eve to remember and the Pla

Becky Hindley Interview
23/12/2025 Duration: 30minTo mark 15 years since the Corrie tram crash, we sat down for a chat with Becky Hindley, the actress behind the 50th anniversary week's first victim, Charlotte Hoyle. Becky recalls what it was like filming her famous demise at the hands of John Stape, the thrill of the live episode and being part of the Coronation Street cast during one of the show's most exciting periods. Conversation Street Episode 711
20/12/2025 Duration: 02h51minOn the latest episode of the podcast, we chat about all the drama in Weatherfield between the 15th and the 19th December (Episodes #11,746 - 11,751). It's starting to become a bit of a tradition that the Monday visit to the cobbles is something of a special episode, isn't it? Recently, we've had Debbie's girls' night out, Maggie's flashback, and this week we were treated to director Matt Hilton's 'Behind Closed Doors' ep, a captivating hour of telly where we got to see the full extent of Theo's abuse of Todd via the lenses of in-world cameras - and we were on the edge of our seats from start to finish! Elsewhere on the Street, Dee-Dee definitely got the memo about how to do a speedy, low-key exit - but it might have been nice to have given a bit more consideration to James, don't you think? Also this week, Cassie and Tracy continue to bicker, Sally struggles to parent a mardy teen, and Will and Megan are nearly caught in the act - as are Carl and James! Up next on the podcast, it's The Kabin, where we chat a

Conversation Street Episode 710
13/12/2025 Duration: 02h58minOn our latest podcast, we chat about Corrie's 65th anniversary week, the episodes shown between the 8th and the 12th December 2025 (Episodes #11,740 - 11,745) Tell you what - you go nearly 65 years with nary a snifter of a flashback on Coronation Street, and in 2025, two episodes revolving round them have turned up at once. Whilst Kit's earlier this year felt like more of a bigger production, though, this week's look into Maggie's past was far more low key - though the revelation at the end that she's been covering up her involvement in Ben's father's death for all these years has certainly had many viewers looking at her in a different light now! And speaking of non-linear storytelling, was it just us, or did Carla and Lisa's break up on Friday's episode smack of déjà vu? Also this week, Debbie and Ronnie bring their wedding forward to the New Year, and Megan and Will arouse Lauren's suspicions... Up next on the podcast, we take a look at the Corriedale broadcast schedule, and we round things off with more

Tram Crash Revisited! Part 2: From Idea To Impact
11/12/2025 Duration: 02h11minIn the second of our special episodes marking Corrie’s legendary tram crash disaster, we head behind the scenes to explore exactly how this unforgettable week came to life. From the first spark of the idea in the writing room, to the movie level special effects and the full-throttle promotion of the show’s 50th anniversary, we leave no piece of rubble unturned, and also take a closer look at how the landmark live episode was pulled off. With insights from writer Jan McVerry and memories from cast members including Vicky Binns, Sally Dynevor and Becky Hindley, this deep dive serves up everything you ever wanted to know about making one of Coronation Street’s biggest and boldest weeks ever.

Conversation Street Episode 709
06/12/2025 Duration: 04h12minOn this weekend's episode of the podcast, we chat about the goings on in Corrie between the 1st and the 5th December (Episodes #11,735 - 11,739). Well what a joyous trip to Weatherfield that was on Monday! Debbie has been the shining star of Coronation Street this year, and between her empowering speech, her boozed up revelries with her mates and her antics in the Fresco trolley, that really was among her best moments. Meanwhile, things certainly aren't looking quite so colourful in the Corner Shop flat, but does Todd's setting up of surveillance cameras hint that he's a bit more aware of what he's going through than we might have previously believed? Also this week, Megan gets a job at Weathy High, Becky comes close to permanently silencing Costello and Dee-Dee announces she's becoming the latest in a long line of Corrie characters this year to up sticks and emigrate - but how will James take the news? Up next on the podcast, it's the Kabin, where we take a look at the Corrie broadcasting schedule over the f

Tram Crash Revisited!
02/12/2025 Duration: 01h29minFifteen years ago this month, Coronation Street reinvented what a soap event week could be, sending a speeding tram hurtling off the viaduct and straight into the Corner Shop, its tail end crashing down on The Kabin. We honestly don't know how they could have gone bigger to celebrate the show's 50th anniversary, and even now, that spectacular week still stands as one of Corrie’s greatest achievements. And yet, despite all that, we’d never rewatched those episodes… until now. So, to mark a decade and a half since John clobbered Charlotte with a hammer, since Sally left Molly beneath the rubble, and since Rita was bombarded with a barrage of bonbons, we’ve finally revisited the tram crash week in all its explosive glory. In this episode of the podcast, we talk through our reactions. Did it live up to our memories? Which moments had slipped our minds altogether? And is it still a must-watch for newer cobbles converts? We dig into all this and more in a packed, high-voltage discussion!

Conversation Street Podcast Episode 708
29/11/2025 Duration: 03h16minOn our latest podcast, we chat about the episodes of Coronation Street shown between the 24th and the 28th November (Episodes #11,729 - 11,734). This week, every Swarla fan’s worst nightmare comes true as Carla finally walks out on Lisa, her patience with Becky’s constant interference pushed beyond breaking point. Lisa’s habit of siding with her undead wife certainly isn’t a great look - so does she deserve some serious grovelling time in the weeks ahead, or is any of her behaviour even slightly justified? There’s more relationship turmoil for Todd and Theo too, as things take a violent turn and a shaken Todd ends up in A&E - still showing no sign of having the strength to walk away from his abusive partner… Also this week, Carl and Ryan clash over who’s second in command at the hotel, Chesney catches Fiz sneaking off for some much-needed R&R, and Asha begins to piece her life back together. For this week's Kabin segment, we've tracked down all the places you can see past Corrie cast member in panto t

Conversation Street Episode 707
22/11/2025 Duration: 02h57minOn our latest episode of the podcast, we chat about what went on in Corrie between the 17th and the 21st November (Episodes #11,717 - 11,722). We all saw the fall out with George coming after Theo unplugged poor Todd's phone last week, but for many viewers, it didn't make those scenes at the end of Monday's episode any less heartbreaking. And as for Theo forcing Todd to play the welcoming host to Pete of all people on Wednesday... We've got a lot to say about this story this week for sure! Meanwhile, Carl makes it clear that he sees no future for him and Abi if Alfie is part of the equation - will it soon be time to say Auf Wiedersehen to Kev's brother, and will Abi learn about his liaisons with James before he goes? Also this week, Carla snaps when she thinks that Becky's had her arrested, Sally reckons she's got some dirt on Tricia and Roy reveals he's writing to people in prison - but do we already know the identity of any of his pen pals? Up next on the podcast it's The Kabin, and we take a look at the ch

Conversation Street Episode 706
15/11/2025 Duration: 03h25minOn this week's podcast, we have a natter about the episodes of Coronation Street shown between the 10th and the 14th November (Episodes #11,711 - 11,716). This week, we were treated to another Kate Brooks patented 'event episode' of Corrie, with all the funny camera effects and timey-wimey shenanigans that they so often entail. This time, it's David and Shona who were under the spotlight, with a half-episode that told the story of their tragic trip to the hospital told directly through the characters' eyes - internal commentary and all. We've seen mixed opinions on this since it aired, and had plenty to say about the format ourselves! Another focus this week was Will's story - when we said that we wanted the Rovers at the heart of Corrie, was a teenage grooming story the sort of thing we were asking for? Not at all, but are we enjoying it nonetheless? Also this week, Fizz bubbles over at work after struggling to run the household with minimal support from wheelchair-bound Tyrone, Kevin nearly loses his car in

George Shuttleworth Character Profile
12/11/2025 Duration: 01h43minWe’re digging deep for our character profile this week - and who better to exhume than George Shuttleworth? Can you believe it’s been five years since Weatherfield’s most cheerful undertaker first rolled up in his hearse? From mortuary mix-ups to romantic moments with Eileen, George has quietly buried the competition to become one of Corrie’s most loved new additions of the 2020s. In this podcast, we lay out his highlights, mourn his mishaps, and celebrate five lively years in the funeral trade.

Conversation Street Episode 705
08/11/2025 Duration: 03h09minOn this podcast, we talk about all things Corrie that took place between the 3rd and the 7th November (Episodes #11,705 - 11,710). With the grown-up Driscolls' feet already very much under the (incredibly large) Rovers backroom table, this week's trip to Weatherfield saw the arrival of the final member of the clan: runaway son Will, whose disappearance at the start of the week was very much the talk of the pub - but did Corrie do enough to keep viewers who'd never even met the kid before engaged? Meanwhile, Becky continues to refuse to take no for an answer, stepping up her game in her attempts to lure Becky and Lisa back to Spain with her, plus a shady conversation with Costello gives sheds a bit more light on the circumstances surrounding Tia Wardley's demise. Also this week, the identity of Hope's troll is revealed, Carl continues to gaslight Debbie, and Cassie and Tracy are still at each other's throats - is this still entertaining, or is it getting a bit tired by this point? After Street Talk, the Kabin
