We're only days away from the big Corriedale crossover now, and this week's trip to Weatherfield saw some of the biggest stories of the year getting all their ducks in a row before whatever fate may befall them on Monday night. Abi's rumbled Carl's plan to do a midnight flit to Dusseldorf while Kev's discovered his involvement in Tyrone's accident, Billy's seen footage showing the full extent of Theo's abuse towards Todd, and the Swains are - finally - set to jet off to Spain - but what has Becky done to Carla? We had an awful lot to chat about all this in the podcast, and a lot to say about how much we adored Debbie's wedding too - what a start to 2026! Unfortunately, Gemma was feeling very under the weather during the recording, so as soon as Street Talk was over, we decided to call it a day there, but there's still plenty of episode before that for you to enjoy!

Becky recalls what it was like filming her famous demise at the hands of John Stape, the thrill of the live episode and being part of the Coronation Street cast during one of the show's most exciting periods. This week, we're joined by Jayne Tunnicliffe, who played chavvy chippy worker Yana Lumb on Corrie back in the mid 2000s. Jayne opens up about her long and varied career in showbiz, and how it led to her securing the part of Cilla's tarty mate for a one-off appearance that went on to be a recurring role for a couple of years.
