On our latest podcast, we chat about the episodes of Corrie shown in the UK between the 5th and the 12th September (Episodes #10735 - 10740). After last Friday's episodes were postponed because of everything going on in the news, we were in a bit of a quandary about whether to record at the weekend or not. Ultimately, though, we thought it'd be best to wait until the episode had aired as we knew that there was going to be a bit of a bombshell dropped about Spider - or should we say DC Nugent! - and we wanted to chat about it straight away! Once that's story's out the way, there's plenty of other good stuff to talk about. We were quite surprised by how well the scenes with James were done, to be honest, and are loving all the sneaking about Stephen's getting up to as well. You may remember we were recording a teensy bit late last Friday night and didn't get round to reading all of your lovely feedback sent in to commemorate the podcast's tenth anniversary. As you can tell by the fact that this is nearly an hour and a half long, we don't think we'd have quite had the time or energy to have popped it at the end of Episode #536, so here it is, in its own special episode! It was honestly so lovely to hear all your kind comments about Conversation Street, the community and your memories from the past ten years of the podcast, so we hope that if you do listen to this, it puts just as big a smile on your faces as it did ours!

Our tenth anniversary edition of the podcast is here! On our latest podcast, we battle through the intense mugginess of the latest heatwave to bring your our thoughts on the episodes of Coronation Street shown in the UK between the 8th and the 12th August (Episodes #10711 - 10716). A character dating back to the very early days of the show, Corrie legend Alf Roberts was a mainstay on the cobbles for nearly forty years, earning the respect of his neighbours as a local councillor and mayor, as well as the adoration of many a Coronation Street viewer. Though nowhere near as experienced as fellow long-timer Ken Barlow when it came to women, Alf was linked with a few lovely ladies in the early days including Maggie Clegg and Renee Bradshaw, but of course it was his partnership with Audrey for which he is best known and most loved. In this character profile, we take an in-depth look at Alf's life story, including some of his most memorable scenes and episodes.

On our latest podcast, we chat about the episodes of Corrie shown in the UK between the 4th and the 8th July (Episodes #10681 - 10686). In fact, that's pretty much all we manage this week - for various reasons, we've had to make this a Street Talk only episode, but it's still a good couple of hours long even so! The main story this week was the big wedding of Fiz and Phill. Many of us had been wondering for a while whether it would actually take place or if she would instead opt for the much anticipated reunion with Tyrone.
