We all have places we want to end up in life. For many of us there is a disconnect between where we want to be and where we end up. Just as every interstate, road, and highway has a final destination, the path you choose in life has one as well. Good intentions, lofty goals, and inspiring dreams are noble, but it’s your path that actually determines where you will end up. WHITE ELEPHANT Gift Exchange: At Christmas time more money is spent and gifts are given than any other time of year, but did you know that the day after Christmas more gifts are returned or exchanged than any other day of the year. Why is that? It’s because we all know what it is like to get a gift you really didn’t want or even like and given the chance we return or exchange that gift for somethi ng we like, need, or could use. The parallel is that we all have things in our lives we would love to get rid of, exchange, or return. The amazing thing about the Christmas story & message is that we can exchange those things for the Gift that God offers us through his Son Jesus. We can exchange our bad news for Good News, our fears for peace, and our pride for a Savior!

Unfortunately many times the Gospel or Good News of Jesus gets turned into something that it was never intended to be. No matter what anyone else tries to make the Gospel about at its core the Gospel is about God taking people who are dead in their sin and making them alive in Jesus!

When we were kids, half the fun was breaking the rules without getting caught. In life though, there's nothing fun about broken promises, broken relationships, or a broken heart. In this series we will see that God has a basic set of "Life Rules" when it comes to relationships. When these rules are lived out they have the power to improve your current relationships and mend hurting ones. It's never too late to learn, relearn, & follow God's rules for His children and relationships.

We wear ourselves out trying to be smarter, bigger, in control, the center of attention. God is looking for men and women who are willing to be small because they know how big He is---and understand who they are not! There is astonishing freedom and incredible rest that comes from believing in the power of the God who is all the things you aren’t!
