WHITE ELEPHANT Gift Exchange: At Christmas time more money is spent and gifts are given than any other time of year, but did you know that the day after Christmas more gifts are returned or exchanged than any other day of the year. Why is that? It’s because we all know what it is like to get a gift you really didn’t want or even like and given the chance we return or exchange that gift for somethi ng we like, need, or could use. The parallel is that we all have things in our lives we would love to get rid of, exchange, or return. The amazing thing about the Christmas story & message is that we can exchange those things for the Gift that God offers us through his Son Jesus. We can exchange our bad news for Good News, our fears for peace, and our pride for a Savior!
