Why don’t we pray or pray more than we do? Maybe you don’t feel like it works? Maybe you feel like you don’t know what you are doing? Maybe you wonder if anyone is listening or it’s you don’t get anything out of it? Could it be that you actually don’t know what you are doing or that you aren’t doing it right? Have you ever asked someone to TEACH you to Pray? One day Jesus is praying and his disciples are watching and listening. After He is done they come to him and ask, Lord, teach us to pray. In this message we will unpack the life-changing answer to that request and hopefully we will learn to Pray Like Jesus!

What drives us to give or be generous? In this message we see we were Created in God's Image/Likeness & even Saved to become like Jesus. So if God loves we should love. If God forgives we should forgive. If God is holy we should be holy. If God is Giving & Generous then we should be _______ &__________.

God has asked us to do the impossible. He has done this so that we would realize how much we need him. The good news is that Jesus came to accomplish the mission we could not for us. We must always remember we can't, but He can!

Communication is key to any relationship and even the way we communicate such as our tone, volume, facial expressions matter. This is even true in our relationship and communication with God. Through a whisper is often how God communicates with us. Many scientists and philosophers have claimed that Earth is an ordinary speck of dust adrift, without purpose or significance, in a vast cosmic sea. Yet current astronomical evidence seems to suggest just the opposite. Looking from a Biblical perspective that tells of a Creator and a Scientific perspective that tells us the factors involved that allow life to exist on Earth we will be left in awe & overwhelmed. According to one poll, 9 out of 10 American adults cannot accurately define the meaning of the Great Commission. 7 in 10 adults have no clue what John 3:16 means. And barely 1 in 3 know the meaning of the expression, the gospel. But the most alarming statistic of all is that 95 percent of Christians have never led another person to Christ. Something has to change! In this message we take a very biblical & practical look at Evangelism.

We all make excuses! God is so faithful that He even works in our excuses, but imagine what He would do in our obedience. Drawing from the stories of Moses & Abraham we see what a faithful God can do with people just like you and me. Our excuses and all!

We probably can't remember it, but there was a time in our lives that taking a step was a huge deal. Any parent who has witnessed their child take those amazing first steps knows this. Do you know in life, especially our spiritual lives there are also some important steps. Looking within the context of our relationship with God and the local church at Cedar Ridge we have identified 4 important steps we believe every person needs to take. We call them NEXT STEPS.

Standing at the altar, we all had a picture of what our marriage would look like. The problem is this picture of marriage results in expectations that we unload on our spouse. The weight of these expectations will rob your marriage of love, intimacy, and joy. So what are you to do with your expectations? You can't deny them, because most expectations started out as God-given desires. In this series we will explain that you must learn to transform your expectations and look to God if you are to experience marriage as it was designed.
