Tonight’s topic was born from a meme going around social media in the last couple of weeks, which I have misplaced now, but basically said (paraphrasing): “Gifted kids, how long did it take before you were ALSO diagnosed with either ADHD or ASD?” At first glance, there appears to be some manner of connection between giftedness, and either ADHD or ASD (or sometimes, both.)  There is significant correlation, but we want to investigate and discuss the potential causality of things, or the lack thereof.
