Two years ago Robert wrote that Hillary Clinton "isn’t likely ever to become president of the United States." He didn't see a Trump presidency coming, but he has warned for years about the growing partisan deadlock and polarization in Washington, D.C., and believes Trump's election is a sign that voters have rejected the old political order.
