There is so much to Fremen culture Paul still has to learn. Harah throws herself at Paul but Pual only seems to have eyes for Chani. Meanwhile Jessica must undertake the ritual of spice agony to the dying Fremen Reverend Mother. Chani doesn't give Jessica much time to think about the ritual before she pours the Water of life down Jessica's throat. This probably doesn't get Chani and Jessica off to the best footing together and the waters of life are potentially dangerous to Jessica’s unborn daughter.
