On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) is here to discuss the Panthers getting a big win against the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday afternoon from Amerant Bank Arena. The Panthers were unable to score on their multiple rush chances early on, but did not end up costing them as the Panthers went back to their identity of shot suppression and protecting the neutral zone. Although Vegas made a push and took an early 1-0 lead, the Panthers tied the game within six minutes of the second period and had a huge penalty kill to start the third. This game got chippy in the middle of the first period where Ryan Lomberg dropped the gloves with Keegan Kolesar and got him on one punch. The Panthers scored twice on the power play in the third to break this one open, Carter Verhaeghe got his 100th goal as a Panther in 235 games, second fastest only to Pavel Bure.
