Synopsis

If you'd like your kids' school to 'go green', don't reinvent the wheel! Today we’ll chat with some trail blazers who will serve as your Deans of Green in sharing tips that really work. First up is the Go Green Initiative’s Teacher of the Year, Ryan Finley, better known as the “Lorax” of Grace Hill Elementary in Roger, Arkansas. We’ll also talk to the pioneer of the Go Green Initiative in Texas and the GGI’s Parent of the Year, Casey Magnuson about how she inspired Texas State PTA to ‘go green.’ Finally, we’ll talk to Elizabeth Eagan-Cox, a former school librarian who has recently published a new book “A Ghost of a Chance” as an eco-friendly eBook – more information at www.ElizabethEaganCox.com. She will share her insights on the advantages of eBooks, both in the school setting and for personal enjoyment.
