What happens when an entire county 'goes green'? On today's show, we'll find out! We’ll talk to the Tompkins County Solid Waste Management Division of New York state about how they’ve taken the platform of the Go Green Initiative (www.gogreeninitiative.org), and turned it into a county-wide environmental education and action plan. Tompkins County will be named the first-ever Go Green County of the Year at the 2008 Go Green Earth Summit in Syracuse, NY on Oct. 18.
