A series about the ideas that have shaped the world we live in, created in association with Victoria University of Wellington's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and RNZ. In this episode we examine the way revolutions shaped and were shaped by the wider cultural contexts of fashion, literature and the visual arts. In addition to examining how these contexts and movements informed revolution, we also look at revolutionary moments in history that changed the arts forever.
