"It has always been an uphill battle with me for track and field but it's shown me that anything that I really want to do, I have the ability to do. From all these obstacles that I've had, I've never really seen it as an opportunity to quit this thing. A lot of people tell me, 'You've been through so much. Why don't you just hang it up? You've gone to the Olympics. You've brought home two medals. You've been top 10 all-time in your sport. You've done enough.' I'm addicted to it.
