Carl and Mike get back into some Falcons talk and share more thoughts on the team's first preseason game and what were some of the things which stood out to them, in which Mike highlighted Brandon Dorlus and James Pearce Jr. played well, however offensively, the team struggled being able to take advantage of some of the turnovers their defense created.

Carl and Mike are joined by Connor Riley as they discuss the latest on the Georgia Bulldogs including the takeaways from their scrimmage on Saturday.

Carl and Mike shared thoughts on the Falcons and Lions working together to force the league officials to call Friday's preseason scrimmage after the Morice Norris injury. They then react to comments by David Onyemata as he sat with Andy and Randy to discuss the Falcons season and how he believes the preseason has been thus far.

Carl and Mike get into the latest NFL headlines including the Falcons preparing for joint practices with the Titans and share some thoughts on what they look forward to seeing in regards to how the Titans will test the Falcons' offensive line. They also react to Eagles left guard Landon Dickerson believed to have suffered a torn meniscus, which they agree would be a huge loss for the Eagles, Joe Burrow comments about why he wanted to play in the Bengals preseason game and Anthony Richardson owning the fact that he should have recognized the blindside blitz and suffered a dislocated pinky.

They then get into some Braves talk and react to the team taking four of five from the Marlins in their last series and agree that while it is somewhat frustrating the team and some players, including Michael Harris II, are playing better of late, it is good they appear to be making progress towards next season.

Carl and Mike open up the show with Falcons talk share some thoughts on their preseason opener on Friday and discuss what they believed they learned about the team after the game to which Mike believes while James Pearce Jr. did not have notable stats, he and Carl agree he was doing his job as he drew double teams and that allowed other players to be effective. They also share thoughts on why they believe the back up offensive line did raise some concern as they struggled to open up the run game.

Carl and Mike open up the show with some football as they react to Anthony Richardson suffering a dislocated pinky finger in the Colts preseason game and believe that while the injury supports those who believe the Falcons are right to keep Michael Penix Jr. out of their preseason opener today against the Lions, the performance of Joe Burrow in the Bengals preseason game in which he threw for 123 yards and two touchdowns, validates why they believe the Falcons should get their second year QB some reps. They then share thoughts on why they believe there will be significant position battles on the defense in regards to the depth chart.
