Carl and Mike get into some brief Falcons talk and more thoughts on today's practice and what they were able to take away in which they agree the type of energy being displayed in camp shows the players want to play for Raheem Morris. They then get into some Georgia Bulldogs talk and discuss whether or not they believe the team can win it all this season to which Carl believes they can do so, however agrees with Mike there are some unknowns due to roster turnover in key positions including the offensive line and at QB with Gunner Stockton taking over.

Carl and Mike are joined by Leonard Floyd who tells them he believes it will be important for the Falcons to get off to a fast start through their first four games in hopes it will carry over into after the bye week and how he can tell the team is hungry by the energy level at practices.

Carl and Mike come back with more brief thoughts on Falcons practice from today and agree the one thing which stood out that they hope to see more of this season is 'red zone efficiency'. They then get into some of the NFL headlines as they react to Cowboys' Tyler Guyton suffering a bone fracture, Deion Sanders saying Shedeur Sanders told him not to come to Browns' camp, and if the Falcons should consider retaining Christian Wilkins.

Carl and Mike react to The Morning Shift's interview with Terry Fontenot who spoke with them about team cuts and the tough decisions which have to be made as they get ready for the season.

Carl and Mike come back with some football talk as Carl addresses rumors of the Browns looking to tank this season in hopes of drafting Arch Manning and Jimmy Haslam coming out to refute the rumors. As they discuss, Carl and Mike agree Manning is likely going to remain in school another season after this year, therefore people do not need to believe the hype. They then get back to Falcons talk and share more thoughts on what they took away from practice today, including the intensity James Pearce Jr. has displayed in practice which they believe is good for the team.

Carl and Mike open up the show with thoughts from today's Falcons practice in which they agree it was good to see Michael Penix Jr. making great passes and they believe the players are hearing everything being said about them, referencing one particular incident in which Kyle Pitts had a drop and Matthew Bergeron ran up to him and told him, 'hey man you got this,". The guys also share some brief thoughts on their conversation with Leonard Floyd who spoke with the guys about how important it will be for the Falcons to get off to a fast start through the first games.

As they react, they agree Blank has done a lot for the community and he is deserving of seeing his team winning a championship. They also share thoughts on Jeff Ulbrich comments including addressing the intensity displayed by the defense over the weekend, to which they agree it is good to see the defense come out this way this early in camp.

They then get back into some Falcons talk and share thoughts on how well they believe the offense will be this season with Mike stating he is curious as to how Zac Robinson will utilize the talent.

Carl and Mike come back with some Braves talk as they react to the news of Grant Holmes being placed on the 60-day injured list, making him the fifth starter for the team to hit the IL this season. As they discuss, Mike reemphasizes his thoughts on believing the Braves have never had enough starting pitching and in a season in which the Braves are likely going to miss the playoffs, the guys agree the injuries to the arms are proof in why the Braves should have invested more into solid arms.
