Carl and Mike close out with final thoughts on the Falcons and Panthers showdown and discuss whether or not the defense is being overvalued, which they agree the national attention following last week's six sacks performance is warranted and this week's matchup gives the Falcons the opportunity to prove the type of performance they had against the Vikings is something they are able to sustain.

Carl and Mike get into some brief NFL talk and share thoughts on whether or not Tua's career is shaping up to be a 'bust' as some of his decision making is coming into question. They also share thoughts on if Mike McDaniel is better suited to being an OC instead of a head coach as they agree his play calling is one of the best however being the leader that a head coach needs to be may not be in his DNA. They then close out with final thoughts on the Falcons releasing Younghoe Koo, agreeing that it was a move that had to be made and there was no need to drag out their decision.

Carl and Mike come back and get into more Falcons talk and continue to preview Sunday's matchup with the Panthers and share more thoughts on the Falcons decision to release Younghoe Koo. As they preview the game, they agree the Falcons secondary situation will not be one to be concerned about despite the fact that AJ Terrell has been listed as out against the Panthers, agreeing that the Falcons have reliable depth and talent in the secondary group.

Carl and Mike come back with their reactions to the news of the Falcons releasing Younghoe Koo and signing Parker Romo to their active roster and believe that there was not surprise to the move as Koo's struggles have continued since last season it was "a decision that had to be made".

Carl and Mike come back with some college football talk and share thoughts on teams they believe have the better chance to win the ACC after Carl stated he does not believe Clemson will still win the conference . They are then joined by Wes Durham, who joined the guys earlier in the week and stated he would not rule the Tigers out of winning the conference.

Carl and Mike come back with thoughts on Pat Beverley coming back at Trae Young following the Atlanta All-Star's response to Beverley's original jabs. As they discuss, they agree that Beverley continues to be in the wrong for his take on Young and believe Young no longer needs to reply to the former NBA player.
