Big news this past week as Sony announced the Playstation 4 Pro and Nintendo released their new Direct with some fun and interesting 3DS tidbits. We discuss some new games we've been playing including Picross 3D Round 2, and then dive into our thoughts on the console formerly known as Neo, as well how we think it may stack up against Scorpio and the Xbox One S.

This episode is all about peripherals. Which ones are our favorites, which ones we thought were flat out terrible, and which ones we're still holding out hope for. 

Well, it has come to this.  Syndicated bids farewell for the time being with a long-awaited discussion of critical (and panel) favorite, LOST.  This island drama set the standard for modern sci-fi on television, and introduced viewers to a type of storytelling they'd never seen before. This episode, we have Luke and Andy on the panel, returning champion Jonathan Metts (Box Office Poison, Austinmates, Discover Music Project) and Crosstawk fearless leader Karl Casteneda (Box Office Poison, A Force To Remember, Rough Draft).  For Jonny, this was his first time watching LOST.  For the rest of us, we were visiting an old friend. Our heroes are now doing hard time. Locked up with a young girl they have to figure out their escape plans while dealing with some very rude men. All this and Coen exfoliates, we learn the origin of Skumk's name, and Jelly lies then does the right thing. Also, we apologize for the literal crickets chirping; Skumk really loves the bugs.

In this episode we talk about what is arguably one of the best uses for the WiiU gamepad, and why that makes Kirby and the Rainbow Curse a worse game for the person playing it. Garett has been playing, shocker here folks, Rock Band 4 again. We discuss the new Rock Band dlc and why we all hate the fact that you have to pay for new modes, even though it's Garett's money that will pay for it. Jess talks about her reborn love of Chime with the release of Chime Sharp, despite some major controller wonkiness on Mac. Gabe has been playing Telltale's Batman: Episode 1 and Abzu. 

2016 has been the year of delays and we are so sorry. So apologetic that we got another theme episode for you. This time it's movie posters for the hit films The Outing, Inseminoid, and Terror From the Year 5000! Please enjoy as we discuss these posters as well as the perfect B actor, a Harold and Kumar movie idea, and 1950's clickbait. 

Coen, Jelly, and Skumk are caught red handed with an incriminating sex toy and are arrested. This episode they'll be put to the test as they attempt a daring escape and are given a tempting offer. Additionally, Coen uses his head, Jelly drops acid, and Skumk opines on bugs.

In this episode Garett and Gabriel discuss their top 3 favorite NES games. And by top 3, I mean a lot of NES games. Shortlists became not-so-shortlists, to the point that we didn't have time to discuss new games played this week, but we hope you enjoy the show nonetheless.

Jonathan Metts joins us as our very special guest for episode 4 of The GG Show where we talk about our favorite superhero games of all time. We also talk about some less than stellar superhero games, and briefly mention Infamous, which is a superhero game we disqualified because it wasn't based on a comic. Bummer, we know. In the latest episode of AustinMates we discuss our excitement for the Xbox One/PS4/PC re-release of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2, briefly talk about Madden, and spend far too long discussing Batman Vs Superman because Jonathan wasn't here to keep the show together, or at least that's what we're going to blame it on.
