Hey folks! We waited years and years for it to arrive and finally, the new Star Wars is here. Everybody has seen it, including us, so we got together with friend of the show Scott Thompson to discuss Episode VII: The Force Awakens. It's an entire episode's worth of Star Wars, from our expectations to our reviews to our hopes and speculations for the future.  Be forewarned, if you have not yet seen Episode VII, go see it. But also, our talk is full of spoilers so if you are wary of that sort of thing, come back and listen after you've seen the film. Well hello there! It's time for a very special episode of A Force to Remember. Now that Episode VII's been release, Shannon and I dusted off this old miniseries and gave it another go, going over The Force Awakens with an extended hot take review. Then, in keeping with tradition, we pair the discussion with a review for another movie, the new Tina Fey/Amy Poehler vehicle, Sisters. Did we find Kylo Ren and the First Order as endearing and hilarious as the Ellis Sisters of Orlando? You'll have to listen in to find out! Also, as a general warning, we go heavy into Star Wars spoilers, so tread carefully if you haven't seen the movie yet. And be sure to come back on Friday when the whole BOP crew gets in on some Star Wars action, along with special guest Scott Thompson!

A bit late, and probably a dollar short, BOP is back! Unfortunately, Jon couldn't make it this time, but we DO have returning hero Mike Sklens on the show, and it's a good thing, because he's got months of movie-watching to review! First, though, we start with spotlighting Creed, the new film in the long and storied Rocky franchise. There's a lot to dive into, and a spirited discussion sprang forth. We also get into Mockingjay Part II and The Good Dinosaur. Then, in our second segment, we discuss Mike's pick for Movie of the Month: Opening Night. Did we lose ourselves in Gena Rowland's on-screen breakdown, or were we left cold with the bitter, bleak atmosphere the film set up? You'll have to listen in to find out! That's how I came to grow up listening to Elvis Presley.   Zanstars returns after more of a delay than we'd like. Since we last posted, Neal literally went through the entire process of buying a house. But, delay and all, Zach joined Neal to talk about their beloved Green Bay Packers and their pending trip to Green Bay in mid-October. Also, Neal reaffirmed his love for the Arrow and Flash shows, and the duo ranked their Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.
