This is a special episode recorded during a road trip with my father, Glen Metts, across the heartland of the United States. From an early age, Dad influenced my love of music by sharing his own. That's how I came to grow up listening to Elvis Presley. Despite being called the King of Rock and Roll, this Southern singer also recorded hits in every kind of music that preceded and informed rock music, including country, blues, folk, and even gospel.
