Noah Lyles On What We Learned In His New Documentary Series + World Championship and World Record Talk
17/08/2023 Duration: 57min“Personally, it's always been the mission… We're willing to be patient. But we're also very keen on what the mission is. It’s not to stop at championships. It's not to stop at fast times. It's not to stop at American Records. It's not to get content. We are here to completely push the boundary every time. I'm very vocal about that...I've posted what my time goals are for the World Championships. I'm here to run 9.65 and I'm here to run 19.10. The crazy thing is it causes so much controversy. Why should my dream or belief cause controversy with you? It has nothing to do with you. If I don't get it, and if I do get it, how does it change your life? So many people want to have an opinion on it. And so many people want to tell me what I can and can't do. But you know what they can’t tell me? What I ran in practice yesterday. And I bet that's the information you need to know if I'm going to actually run it or not.” Two-time world champion and Olympic bronze

Nikki Hiltz After Winning The U.S. 1500m Title And Breaking The Mile American Record In 4:16.35
26/07/2023 Duration: 01h10min“I think the only time I thought about that American record was that last 100m because I was like, ‘You have to beat Elise no matter what. If you guys are going fast enough and you’re not in front of her, she’s going to get it.’ I think I barely outleaned her and ended up getting sixth. The results took forever to load and come up on the screen but when they did it was such a party because everyone set their national record. Seven of us were out there stoked. At this event, everyone is so happy for everyone. It’s cool to see the camaraderie. We know that if one of us is going to do well, we’re all going to rise to that.” Nikki Hiltz is putting together one of the most impressive outdoor seasons. Last month was an absolute triumph for Nikki, as they clinched the U.S. 1500m title, kicking to victory ahead of the likes of the 800m Olympic champion Athing Mu, U.S. Olympian Cory McGee and the reigning U.S. champion, Sinclaire Johnson. My interview with Nikki went viral after they dedicated the victory to the trans

Faith Kipyegon Wants To Run Even Faster After Breaking The 1500m + 5000m World Records, Continues To Inspire Mothers
19/07/2023 Duration: 15min“This journey is all about the legacy I want to leave behind to motivate the young generation. It’s not all about getting the world record and we are done. I still need more to motivate the young generation to know that ‘Faith was there and she did this. She was the Olympic champion and world champion. Now she’s a record holder.’ I still need to show girls the way and all women.” My guest for this bonus episode this week is two-time Olympic champion Faith Kipyegon. I’ve had her on the show before but I had a chance to chat with her one-on-one for a little bit on my trip to Kenya last month. This was just two weeks after she ran the world records. On June 2, she became the first woman under 3:50 for 1500m with a 3:49.11 at the Florence Diamond League. That record was a long time coming for her since she’s the undisputed greatest of all-time in the 1500m. A week later, she stunned herself running 14:05.20 to break the 5000m world record at the Paris Diamond League. She's a big deal. If you go to Kenya, you

Keira D’Amato After Breaking The American Record In the Half Marathon, 1:06:39 At The Gold Coast Half Marathon
17/07/2023 Duration: 53min"Being injured it's so easy to think, 'This is it! This is all she wrote! That was a good run, Keira.' You can't help but let your mind go there. It was the fact that I was able to have another high and I never thought I'd get to experience anything like I experienced in Houston with that day. It felt like a once-in-a-lifetime thing that I got to experience. Part of me said, 'That might be it!' The fact that I experienced something else that was a different kind of high and win was special. That week, I doubted if I would even make it to the starting line. My daughter was having a hard time with me going so there was a lot of mom guilt going on...It was a lot of doubts and insecurities. The whole time 'hope' was a word that kept coming to mind. I hoped that I could get through it. I hoped that I would have another moment. I hoped that I could hit a big goal like that again. I was positive but you just never know if it will happen. That's where all the emotion came

We found out that we were making this move to Eugene...Finally, this year – I’m in a new situation. The training is going super well. I feel my engine is stronger than ever. This is a good time.
