Forever in eternity is a long time, and it's permanent. That's a really good thing when you know Jesus.

For each of the 7 "I Am" Statements Jesus demonstrates that he really is who he says he is. All throughout Jesus ministry, he has been calling people to follow him, he's been teaching people the truth, and he's been restoring peoples lives. Now Jesus is about to head to the ultimate destiny of heaven, and he continues to call his disciples to seek him as the way, the truth, and the life!

For each of the 7 "I Am" Statements Jesus demonstrates that he really is who he says he is. All throughout Jesus ministry, he has been shepherding. He has been feeding the flock, healing the flock, guiding the flock and protecting the flock and in this account, he has just went after a "lost sheep" (The blind man of John Ch. 9) and brought him into the fold. He will ultimately lay his life down for the flock when he goes to the cross, thus proving that he is indeed the Good Shepherd.

There is coming a day when there will be no more curse. God himself will wipe all our tears away!

For each of the 7 "I Am" Statements Jesus demonstrates that he really is who he says he is. Is this account, the Pharisees just slammed the door on the blind man that Jesus healed and they kicked him out of "the fold". He was no longer allowed in the temple- they stood at the gate to the temple and said to this man- you can't enter. Jesus then hears of this and hunts the blind man down- then he explains that HE HIMSELF is the door- and HE IS the gatekeeper of the fold, NOT the Pharisees.

For each of the 7 "I Am" Statements Jesus demonstrates that he really is who he says he is. In this account we see Jesus claiming to be the Resurrection and the Life. Jesus then proves that fact by raising Lazarus from the dead. He still proves it today through every spiritually dead person he calls forth and he'll prove it in the future at the end of days when believers get their resurrection bodies .

We've all experienced delayed answers to prayer. In some cases we still wonder if God is listening, or if He even cares. Well, it may surprise you to know that there are times when God intentionally waits to answer our prayers and it's actually because HE LOVES US. With many things in our world and lives coming to an abrupt stop, many people are asking, what is it that God is doing in the world? Could Jesus' return be sooner than we think? This is a message that was given in a young adults Bible study through the book of Revelation a few years back.
