Right before Passover, Jesus rides into Jerusalem on a donkey and then declares he is going to die on a cross. The people were then very resistant to that statement, because they wanted Jesus to liberate them from Rome, not be crucified by Rome. Jesus then pronounces a hardening of heart over the Jewish people that was very similar to something that happened when Moses went in to declare liberation of God's people to Pharaoh. Pharaoh resisted and hardened his heart, so God in turn set his heart in stone. Like the liberation of Moses- It was through the death of the firstborn son, and the blood of the Passover lamb- that the people would ultimately be liberated.

Have you ever wondered if God is really in control of the world in which we live? Many people try to excuse God by saying that Satan is in control, but the Bible from start to finish teaches us that while Satan is influencing and causing the evil and wickedness of this world, even Satan's own control is limited by God and eventually will be destroyed completely in God's perfect timing, under His own sovereign plan. The Book of Daniel paints a very interesting picture of how God works in the world. It shows us His sovereign hand at work from a distance and also close up and personal.

What is the secret to contentment and how is it discovered? Join us as we continue this study in the final section of Philippians.

In all of the accounts of God's people in Daniel 1-6, there is a similar pattern that these men follow. Join us as we learn the pattern of how to be godly in our generation.

You can have the best, most expensive paint but as long as it's still in the can , it doesn't do anybody any good because the value of the pain in in the application. The same is true for the things we learn when it comes to God's Word. Unapplied truth is like unapplied paint, it doesn't do anybody any good.

As Belshazzar was drinking himself into oblivion, judgment was closing in, he should've known better, but he ignored all the warnings. for our world, like Belshazzar, the handwriting is on the wall. Are found wanting?

What makes God different than us? Well, the answers to that question are innumerable, but when it comes to His attributes, they can be summed up into three main categories: His omniscience, His omnipresence, and His Omnipotence. After the psalmist David thinks through these attributes, he then asks God to search his heart, not to reveal anything to God about his heart, but for God to reveal things to him. This is both a terrifying thought and a comforting thought to those who know Him. Join as as we meditate on Psalm 119 together.

There is a grid by which we see all of life that is skewed and damaging. It causes us to live on the emotional spectrum of feeling either at the top of the world, or feeling like we're nothing, feeling like we deserve what we have (whether good or bad) or we feel like life's never fair. So what's the cure? Join as as we learn a very ancient and timeless lesson that will set us free!

Our mind is a battlefield that needs to be won. Many times our thoughts can hold us captive and keep us in a prison, but we are told in Scripture to take every thought captive.
