Mark records the pace at which Jesus moved in ministry. Jesus is wanting followers. He is calling disciples to stay in step with him. He will show his followers that he has power over darkness, sickness, and bondages. Our job is to keep up with Him when He calls.

When it comes to the cross of Jesus, we often talk about 'the great exchange' which is our sinful life exchanged for Christ's Righteous life. But, there is another exchange that happened when Jesus went to the cross that everyone should beware of repeating. Join us as we hear a message from a faithful missionary to Africa.

Fighting, quarrelling, and cliques were happening at the church in Corinth as a result of the 'spiritual elitism' that was taking place in their midst. Some of the people were picking teams and picking their favorite preachers and some were even saying that there was no need for any preachers, they just need Jesus. This was a recipe for disaster that was making the church ineffective for reaching people for Jesus because they were no longer pointing people to the cross but instead were pointing people to themselves. Paul gives us the solution for every church: Get your eyes off of men and on to Christ Crucified for you! Join us!

This is a message to the people who survive the great 7 year tribulation spoken of in Revelation chapter 6-19. Yes, there will be a number of people on the planet that survive the great judgment of God and God has given some timeline markers in His word from the book of Daniel to bring guidance and direction for those who will be around during that time. In the middle of that 7 year period there will be what's called "The abomination of desolations" which is when the Antichrist will put an end to sacrifice in the Temple in Jerusalem and claim to be 'God". There will be an image that is set up as well. God has promised that from that moment on there will be exactly 1260 days of the antichrists terror. If you make it to Jordan, you'll be safe. If not, lay low and wait. After the 1260 days the antichrist will be dethroned, but stay put another moon cycle of 30 days (1290 days) After that there will be another 45 days (1335 days) and then you will finally be in the clear. In Chapter 11:1-35 we are given over 135 prophecies that have been fulfilled in history. It had to do with a series of wars between Egypt and Syria with Israel caught in the middle. Each war kept ramping up and getting worse, and bringing about A terrible moment in Jewish history with Antiochus Epiphanes who brutally persecuted God's people. From verse 36 on, there is still one more war yet to happen that has not been fulfilled yet by the even worse King- Antichrist.

God and his angelic forces are always working to hold back the darkness to accomplish His purposes and plans for redemption, but it certainly is a battle. Thankfully as believers, we have the mighty power of the LORD available for us. Our battle is not against flesh and blood! Since Daniel was a young teenager, he has been in Babylon for almost 70 years. He realizes through reading the scroll of Jeremiah that the time of Jewish exile is coming to an end and he cries out to the Lord in prayer! The Lord comes and answers his prayer with an even more interesting prophecy about the future. This prophecy of 70- 7's is one of the most integral prophecies for understanding the end times. Join us as we dive in to this most important chapter.

Generosity is a big part of God's character. Since we were created in the image of God, then when we are generous, we are living according to our design and we will discover that God will in turn, meet all our needs. This is where true joy is found.

We can see from history that the things spoken of in Daniel 8 came to pass just as it stated it would. In particularly the little horn that rises in chapter 8 is a type of the little horn that we saw in chapter 7. In other words, Antiochus Epiphanies is a foreshadowing of the yet future Antichrist.
