Most of her jobs had been temporary office jobs, and she couldn’t seem to find her way out. By chance, she ended up in a data entry job off of Craigslist. Along with the data entry, they trained her in some programming. Almost seven years later, she can look back at her past self and see how far she’s come. From getting over the hump of feeling incredibly inadequate and terrified of being “found out”, to feeling confident that she has the skills to learn anything new that she put her mind to. Her first foray into the field was through a Web Design apprenticeship she began after dropping out of college. Being inspired by her boss, she eventually tried out a few online courses on how to code and fell in love. Fast forward to today and she is now a Lead Developer at the same digital agency.
