FEAR of the Unknown with Tony Blauer
10/08/2021 Duration: 01h21minThis episode is a conversation with Tony Blauer, a leading authority in personal self-defense and tactical confrontation. I interviewed Tony just before the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 and we had a great discussion about his life and the influences that have shaped him. Tony is a friend and a fellow Montrealer turned SoCal living, and I invited him back after a year, to talk about the pandemic, people's reaction to the fear of the unknown. Whether it's the acute and immediate threat to your life or the insidious and ongoing pressures of society, fear is and will always be a part of our life, and we must learn to understand it and manage it ourselves. One of Tony's principle beliefs is that to successfully de-escalate a threatening situation, react to it, create your safe space, or defend yourself, you must overcome FEAR. His groundbreaking "Know FEAR" course is a must-have, and if you are in the world of tactical confrontation this guy is a must-know https://blauerspear.com/ C

Sunday Re-Marks - 1993 Inc-ROY-able - 2021 PRICEless - The Habs Make the Finals
27/06/2021 Duration: 20minThis week's Sunday Re-Marks is a little ode to my old team. The 2008-2009 season was my last year in the NHL. I chose to retire at the end of that season and move on to other things I wanted to experience. I was blessed to see the dawning of a future Hall of Fame goalie. I knew then he would be something special one day. I watched him in his first NHL All-Star game the year that began the Habs 100th anniversary celebration. To have been a part of this great organization was a blessing, to have witnessed the beginning of number 31's career was something special: World Juniors Gold, Calder Cup Champion, Olympic Gold Medalist, One goal left to accomplish. I wish Carey, the team, and my good friends, Graham, Pat, Steamer, and Gerv, the best of luck in the Stanley Cup Finals, you all deserve a special outcome. Performance Conversations - Dom+Scott - Supporting Longevity
29/05/2021 Duration: 01h07minIn this Episode, Dom Gauthier and I go deep on things that support an athlete's longevity in a sport. It's not always about bigger, faster, stronger, but also how long you can stay in the game. If you're not playing, you're not contributing, and you're not creating success. You can be the fittest, fastest, or strongest in the game, but if you're in the clinic instead of on the field of play, it's all for not.
