Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with Rosalba Rocchio, a speech language pathology audiologist who serves as a Speech Therapist in the Uniondale Public Schools, and a proud graduate of NCC.

Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with Orlandina Balan, Class of 1995. Orlandina is the owner and founder of The Fitter Woman, a Holistic Health and Wellness Company. She believes in finding one’s health via the mind, body and spirit. She has been an educator for 20+ years, a professional women’s physique athlete in the IFBB and is certified as an integrative nutrition health coach.

Jonathan Salazar re-enrolled at the College in 2016 and realized going to school will be his full-time job. He served as the President of the Marketing Club. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with top honors, receiving 10 scholarships and the SUNY Chancellors Award, and was admitted to NYU. He is an Associate Media Planner for GROUPM, which is a billion-dollar company.

Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with Katherine Margaritis, NCC Class of 2013. She is now a professional photographer, aspiring singer/songwriter, and other freelance work in the entertainment field.

Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with Katie Stewart, NCC Class of 1982. She is a kindergarten teacher in Levittown, and has been teaching for over 35 years. She was also an ordained Eucharistic Minister while on campus!

Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with Roxana Velardi, NCC Class of 1982. Roxana went to St. John’s University after Nassau, in the education program of Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped. She pursued Speech and Language Pathology and received her Master’s in Speech and Language from Adelphi University. She has been a speech pathologist for the Uniondale School District for the past 15 years.

Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with “Addie” Blanco-Harvey, who has lived in the Uniondale community for over 35 years. Class of 2006, she serves as a public relations coordinator and office manager for the past 17 years. She is an advocate for children, serving as a mentor and a member of Comite Civico Salvadoreno for 9 years.

Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with Glynis Boone Andrews, NCC Class of 1977. Glynis is retired, and is currently self-employed as the owner of her own shipping and packaging company in Chesapeake, VA. She has an Associate’s Degree in Retail Business. Management, and is also a notary!

Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with Stephanie Lombardo, NCC Class of 2008. Her professional background is in video production and business, with a focus in media. She left NCC and earned her BA in Film Production at Hofstra University, and an MBA from LIU Post. She is also host of The Party Mix on WHPC!

Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with Gillian Sobocinski, NCC Class of 2016. Her professional background is in music education, but her true passion is women and gender studies. She is an advocate for social justice and wants to work on issues related to mental health and gender.

Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with Nigel Dunkley, a professional ventriloquist for over 10 years. He began performing in subways and earning a global following. He hit the grand stage on Showtime at the Apollo and The Steve Harvey Show! Nigel is a proud alum of NCC.

Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with Michael Reese, an Atlanta-based photographer and conceptual artist, working in themes related to family history, portraiture, and memory – and he’s a proud graduate of NCC!

Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with Mike Turso, who works with a large non-profit healthcare network at St. Luke’s Hospital in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. He treats outpatients who suffer from a wide variety of communication disorders. He is also a proud graduate of NCC!

Aurora Workman and Dr. Lynnda Nadien talk with Noel Epps, an independent contractor who owns and operates Epps Van Services, and has been coaching football, basketball, baseball and girls softball for over 25 years. He is currently the head coach of the Long Island Red Devils, who are the reigning EFA Champions, and a very proud graduate of Nassau Community College!

Aurora Workman and Dr. Lynnda Nadien talk with Loretta Barnes, Class of 1981. Loretta graduated with a liberal arts degree. She has worked as a camp counselor, a phlebotomist and an actor. She currently resides in Georgia!

Aurora Workman and Lynnda Nadien talk with Roy Yokelson, NCC Class of 1976. Roy is the owner of Antland Productions and provides voice over support services. Roy is a producer, a recording technology educator, a member of SAG-AFTRA, and an audio book producer.

Aurora Workman and Dr. Lynnda Nadien talk with Sergio Argueta, one of the most influential community activists on Long Island. He is the Founder and Board Chair of S.T.R.O.N.G. Youth, Inc, struggling to reunite our new generation. He is one of the leading pro-youth and family grassroots organizations, focused on gang prevention and intervention agencies in the Northeastern United States. Sergio is also a proud graduate of Nassau Community College!
