He earned his bachelors from LIU. He is currently an advisor to the NCC Student Veterans club, volunteers at Long Island Cares and the Nest at NCC.

He joined the Alumni Association in the fall of 2018 as a student and now joins as one of the Board of Directors. During his time as a student at Nassau Community College, Kevell was a staff member at Vignette newspaper, Secretary and Public Relations of Haraya (Nassau’s Black Student Union), and had been involved in Student Government Association. In addition, he volunteered and worked in Orientation for Student Activities to guide incoming freshmen students and tour them around the campus. Kevell is currently attending Farmingdale State College, and he will be expected to graduate in the fall of 2022 with a bachelor's in Business Management.
