Carl and Mike get back into some Falcons talk as they continue to preview Sunday's season opener with the Bucs and discuss some of the takeaways from their conversations with Raheem Morris and Michael Penix Jr. As they share their thoughts on the conversations with Morris and Penix Jr., they agree that the Bucs will be a "really good first test" for the Falcons defense due to Baker Mayfields' ability to escape the pocket and pick up yards.

They then get into some Falcons talk and react to comments by Michael Penix Jr. as he spoke with media about the quality of reps he has been able to get with starting unit to which Carl revisiting his comments from last week in which he said he was comfortable with the Falcons not just throwing Michael Penix Jr. into the fire and have him 'throwing the ball around the yard' and would be ok if he was more of a game manager.

As they discuss their thoughts on Sunday's showdown with the Bucs, they both agree the Falcons offense will provide enough for fans to be excited about this season.

Carl and Mike come back with some brief college football talk as they take a look ahead to some of the matchups this coming weekend including the Michigan and Oklahoma showdown, which they believe could be considered one of the better matchups of the weekend. They then share some thoughts on the back and forth between Dan Lanning and Mike Gundy as Gundy seemingly took a shot at Oregon for the amount of money they spend in NIL, to which the guys agree there should be no issue coming from Gundy and believe he knows how the game has been going for years.

As their conversation continued, they agree beating the Bucs will not be enough and that the Falcons need to dethrone the four-time defending NFC South champs. They then react to more comments from Raheem Morris as he spoke about the team not looking to shift guys around on the o-line as it could make them weaker in two areas vs one.

Carl and Mike close out the show with final thoughts on college football and some of the outings from over the weekend and share more thoughts on why they believe Kalen DeBoar may not be ready or the guy currently for the Alabama program as they struggled in the season opening loss to FSU. They also note they believe Georgia Tech did a great job in pulling out the win against Colorado, however they need dynamic play from other players than Haynes King.

As they discuss they share thoughts on why they believe DeBoar's coaching may come to be in question due to the fact that he did not take over an Alabama team without talent.

Carl and Mike get into what's on DA-DA's ind and discuss him wearing GT gear into Colorado facilities and getting cussed out by JuJu Lewis, why Alabama's loss to FSU may have made their matchup with Georgia that much more of a must watch game and if Florida State had the best offensive performance among Top 25 teams.
