Carl and Mike get into some NFL talk and share thoughts on which second year quarterbacks they expect to have good seasons including Michael Penix Jr. and Micah Parsons' response to Jerry Jones and the lack of contract talks between himself and the Cowboys

Carl and Mike get into some of the sports headlines including the Braves losing to the Giants on Tuesday and agree that Ronald Acuna Jr. continues to be the one bright spot for the team. They all react to Tony Petitti and his comments on the future of the CFP format, which he believes late games of the regular season need to be conference games which will have impact.

Carl and Mike come back and get into some brief Falcons talk as they react to some of the social media posts of several players arriving including Kyle Pitts, who Carl believes appeared to seem more loose and personable compared to season past. They also share some thoughts on Adam Schefter's comments in which he told them he believes the Falcons should be competing for the NFC South title this season, to which they agree with his statement, especially with the defensive side of the ball appearing to be improved on paper.

Carl and Mike open up the show being joined by Adam Schefter as they discuss the latest NFL headlines with camps now underway and his support of getting tested for Type 1 Diabetes.

In the final hour of today's show, the guys hit the Falcons report. ACC and Big Media Days are in full swing, and the coaches are taking shots at the SEC.

Carl and Mike close out the show with thoughts on what appears to be other conferences taking shots at the SEC for not being willing to move to nine conference games as discussions about the CFP expanding to 16 teams continue .

Carl and Mike are joined by Grant McAuley as they discuss the latest on the Braves including an update on the return of Austin Riley.

Carl and Mike get back into some Falcons talk and share thoughts on why they believe Michael Penix Jr. displayed enough last season to warrant excitement for the season. They then react to comments by Kyle Pitts in which he addresses expectations of himself for the season as he stated he wants to have a rejuvenated season. As they discuss, they question if Pitts will be challenged by his teammates enough to have the impactful season Falcons have needed from him the past few seasons.

Carl and Mike come back with some Braves talk and share thoughts on why they believe the decision to use Drake Baldwin should have been at least a month ago. They then get into some Falcons talk and share thoughts on several players who they believe will need to meet or exceed expectations this upcoming season.

Carl and Mike get into some college football talk and share some thoughts made by David Pollack in which he stated he believes Georgia will not be able to get back to the SEC championship game if they do not have an improved running game. As they discuss, both Carl and Mike agree with Pollack's comments noting Georgia's offensive line having lost key players and will need to be impactful to help Georgia improve their such attack.

Carl and Mike come back and get into some more football talk as they react to reports the ACC plans to fine teams for field storming to which Carl believes may be getting out of hand due to the fact he believes that is an experience college students should be able to have in some big game situations. They then get into some NFL headlines and discuss Jerry Jones' comments on Micah Parsons and Dak Parsons, Mike Brown's comments on the Bengals dealing with Trey Hendrickson and Shemar Stewart contract situations.

Carl and Mike are joined by Tony Gwynn Jr. as they discuss why the Braves may be able to get some valuable return for Marcell Ozuna if they decide to trade him and why MLB is in a good place with the division races.

Carl and Mike come back with some brief college football talk as they share thoughts on the ACC Media Days getting underway and Carl noting he believes Georgia Tech will take a big leap in the conference this season, however he and Mike agree the conference may truly be up for grabs with the exception of Clemson being the only "viable threat to win the conference title.

Carl and Mike open up the show with some brief Braves talk as they react to the Braves win on Tuesday behind a six RBI night by Drake Baldwin, to which both agree the decision to utilize Baldwin as the DH probably should have been made sooner. They then get into some Falcons talk as they react to news of all of the first three open practices having already reached capacity, to which the guys believe is a sign fans are excited for the Falcons season to get underway.
