I talk about a recent experience when I was on a flight and stood at the front of the plane. It allowed me to experience some of the same feelings that come up when we public speak. Malarchuk is best known for having survived a life-threatening injury during a 1989 NHL game when another player's skate blade sliced his carotid artery and jugular vein, causing immediate massive blood loss.
