Have you ever wanted to question God? Have you ever cried out to God, "God, Where's your goodness?" or "Where's your justice?" Have you ever experienced the impulse to shout at God and ask Him what in the world He is doing? Have you done that before? Is that wrong? Does that mean you've lost your faith? Does God get angry when you do things like that? Could it really be true that God loves and desires these types of questions? In today's message, as we enter the third chapter of 1st Thessalonians, we'll not only answer these questions, but we'll also learn a positive way to respond when others are going through these type of experiences

As we continue in Thessalonians, we find ourselves in the 2nd chapter reading how Paul defends some accusations against his character. As we study this passage, we'll come to the understanding that a reputation of blamelssness is essential in imparting the word of God (that continuously is working within those who accept it).

We begin our sermon series in the book of 1st Thessalonians and examine why Paul labels this church a model/pattern that all people should follow

In this message we turn to Haggai 2:10-20 and read the third message from Haggai. As we read, we'll find that we're often like a frog sitting in a pot of water unaware of the atmosphere around us and that the water's getting hotter and hotter and hotter.

In this passage we turn to Haggai 2:1-10 and find the nation of Israel sad, disheartened, and wondering what's the point of even trying. As we read the words that God gave Haggai for the Israelite people, we'll find that these words pierce our own dissappointments and inspire us to bring our water....to bring our bread....and to bring whatever we've got.

In today's message we turn to Luke 14:6 and look at the parable of the Vineyard Owner and His unfruitful tree. As we explore this passage, we'll find that God is not only upset with an unrepentant and unchanged Israel, but he is also tired of our apathetic attitudes and unchanged lives.

I remember a time when i was really passionate for Jesus. What happened to me? Where did my passion go? Is this lethargic attitude and apathetic heart supposed to develop within to me the longer I remain a Christian? Am I really going to find answers in the book of Haggai?

As we prepare for communion we turn to John 4, the story of the Woman at the Well. In this passage we try to understand Jesus' incredible claim to being a living water that will satisfy all our thirst.

In this message we look at Matthew 14, Jesus walking on water, to see a common thread in all people's encounter with Jesus. Does Jesus come to bring calmness to the boat or does He ask us to walk on water?

In this passage we look at what Paul's thorn in the flesh has to do with us.

Because we have this freedom in Jesus Christ and because we're justified, not by our actions, but by believing in Him, is there a place for correction or accountablity within the Church? And who does this correcting? What are the qualifications needed. Turn with me to Galatians 6:1-4 to see how Paul answers these questions

In this message we turn to Jeremiah 1:4-19 to see that God doesn't care about age or experience when he calls us.

Today we look at Genesis 1, 2, and 3 in order to find out woman's relationship to man. Was man created to be the head of woman and have authority over her or were they created equal.

As we continue in our study of women and their role in relation to men and within the church, we find our selves in 1st Timothy 2:11-14. In this passage Paul clearly writes that he "does not allow a woman to teach or have authority over a man." But as we go deeper into this passage, we'll find that there more going on than meets the eye. Is this passage restricting women or will we find that it is liberating?

Prompted by the statement that those who live by the Spirit are free, we had to ask what does it mean to live by the Spirit. So in this message we look through Galatians 5:16f in order to come to the understanding that part of this concept of living by the Spirit means we crucify our flesh.

Within the verses of John 8:31-36, Jesus tells us that the "truth will set you free." In this message we unpack Jesus' words to find that Jesus is inviting these people to move deeper from just head knowledge to knowing and experiencing himself. We'll learn that Jesus is the one who sets us free.

This is the third sermon in the series titled, "Beginnings", in which we look at two events at the beginning of Jesus' ministry that had a huge impact on His life. In this message, we will look at the temptation of Jesus, which is found in Matthew 4, in order to see what God is up to in leading Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted and also how these temptations relate to us
