All Libraries - All Day Food for Fines All branches of the Allegany County Library System will hold Food-for-Fines Day on April 11. This is our annual day of the year when patrons can reduce their fines by turning in cans or boxes of non-perishable food. Each can or box given will reduce your fine by $1.00. Queen City Film Festival 2018
24/09/2018 Duration: 30minThe Queen City Film Festival is Western Maryland's premier film festival, this year October 4-7 2018 in Cumberland Md. The QCFF is currently in its eighth year and is being held at Mezzo's 114 S. Centre Street on the third floor. The QCFF offers a four-day program of screenings and educational panels, and welcomes filmmakers from around the world. This year they are featuring 89 Films over eight categories and featuring six Maryland filmmakers. Ryan Mullaney DMA

Ryan while studying has been racking up the air miles to come back home to participate and help run Mountainside Baroque a local non-profit. Mountainside Baroque, Cumberland’s early music collective has established itself as a staple of the cultural scene in the mid-Atlantic region, known for its excellent performances of music written before 1800.
