"Control Freak" is not a term we would liked to be referred to as. Do you struggle with control? If we're honest, most of us would say yes. But how do I know if I am currently a control freak, or even heading in that direction. Join us in our study of Jacob and Laban and we will see some key characteristics of control. We will discover the key to gaining control, is letting go.

Are you a faithful employee working for a boss who is treating you unfairly? Are you a woman married to a man who wants nothing to do with God? Are you a student who is being pressured by the faculty not to stand up for your faith? When we are faced with situations that are ungodly, is a godly response to our detriment? In other words, if we choose to remain godly even when we are being treated ungodly, will it be to our loss? Or is God big enough to help us in any situation we find ourselves in?

Jealousy is a powerful motivating force. It has the ability to simultaneously bring out the best in us as well as the worst in us. At the end of the day jealousy does more damage to our lives and our relationships than good, which is why it is something we are to turn away from. Jealousy can be something that we all struggle with at times, but how do we overcome it? Join us in this study of Rachel and Leah as we talk about 5 suggestions to overcoming jealousy.

There are times when God forces us to stay where we are in the midst of a drought in order that we may go deeper and find living water. Whenever there is a famine in our spiritual life, it is Gods way of driving us deeper. To the spring of living water. We have to be willing to go deeper than our circumstances. While we may not all be called to be missionaries, we are all called to be on mission. And as followers of Jesus, God has a specific will for us to be on mission. This week we will take a Sunday and talk about the mission trip we took to Haiti and also spend a few minutes in Luke 10 talking about the mission that we are all to be on together in our own towns!
