When people harm us, it can be hard to not want to get them back. How do you react when someone mistreats you? Do you respond in anger and revenge or do you respond in love? For most of us, our default mode is anger or revenge or getting even- but God wants us to respond differently. If we want to be a church that loves like Jesus, we need to set our default reaction mechanism to Love.

The Bible teaches us that love is supposed to be the main characteristic of the Church. Jesus said by this all people will know that we belong to Him, by the love we have one for another- not by the programs we have, not by the attendance we have, or the cool worship music- but by our love. Well, if this is THE main way that the world will know that we belong to Jesus, what do you think Satan will work hard at keeping us from doing? Love really matters!

Was there a time in your life when you were more on fire for God? Have you lost your passion for God? Have you drifted into a season of complacency or despair? Let today be the day that you fan the flame! If we are going to love others well, the greatest gift that I can give to anyone else is to Love God with all my heart!

Do you ever wonder where you fit in? What gift might God have given you that you are not yet using? What if only 20% of you body was working? Would you be able to get a lot done? As we continue our study in Romans 12 we come to the subject of spiritual gifts. We discover that we are all part of one body and we all have a part to play.

What is God's definition of the church? Was church really meant to be a business where the Pastor is the C.E.O. and the congregation are the labor workforce. Is the Pastor the "holy and anointed One" and the congregation the "lowly laity"? Or is the church something far different then what we in America have made it? How does God define it? Is it primarily an organization or is it primarily a living organism? These are all important questions to ask and in order to discover God's will for our lives, we need to have a right understanding of the church.

Most of us want to know what God's perfect will is for our lives, but is it possible to really know? If so, how do we position ourselves in a place where we are able to discern His will? Romans 12 gives us some very practical steps that we need to take to be able to test and approve of God's good, pleasing and perfect will for our lives.

Is it possible to know God's perfect will for my life? Often we are in angst over the questions like: What job Should I take? What person should I marry? What school should i go to? Where should I live? While all of these are good questions, there are some practical steps that we need to take before we can get the answers to these questions. In this study we will talk about seven practical steps that we need to take to discover God's will for our lives.

Israel is a people loved by God. They were a nation that was cultivated by the loving care of God. As a gardener tends to an Olive tree so too God tended to the nation Israel. But as time went on, because of unbelief the Nation stopped producing fruit. Then God pruned the tree and grafted in some wild Olive shoots. If you are a Gentile you are the wild shoot that has been grafted into the Olive tree. So, is there no hope for Israel? As we will see today- God still has a plan for them. He is able to graft them in again if they do not persist in unbelief. You may ask, "Is there no hope for my unbelieving family or friends who seemed so hardened to the gospel? Yes- there is always hope!

If you don't have a heart for the lost, why not? Are you content with that? For those of us who want to reach people with the message of Jesus love, how do we do it? What does it look like? With all of the people in the world that need Jesus- it can get overwhelming and sometimes discouraging. Join us this week as we pull out some practical principles from Romans 10 on reaching the lost.

What road are you on? Are you on the road to heaven or hell? If you were to die today and stand before God and God asked you why he should let you into heaven- what would you say? There are two roads- works and faith. Join us this week as we ask these foundational questions: What's the right road and why? Where does each road lead me? How do I know if I'm on the right road? If I'm on the right road, what is my responsibility to those who are on the wrong road?

Are there people in your life that you long to see saved? Maybe you have tried in the past to reach them but they seem so unreachable. The Apostle Paul has some stretching and at the same time comforting truths to help us reach the unreachable. Sometimes the people that seem the most reachable are often times the most unreachable and sometimes the most unreachable are often times the most reachable.

Are there people in your life that seem unreachable? Is there anything we can do to save them? What lengths would you be willing to go to in order that people may be saved from hell? Does your heart break over the lost world? Join us this week as we start a new study through Romans 9, 10 & 11 called "Reaching the Unreachable"

Fact or feeling? Sometimes it may feel like God is not on our side. Sometimes we may question if God is really for us, but what our feelings tell us are often times different than what the facts tell us. Join us for this message as we remember what the facts are as we look at the "we knows" of Romans 1-8. The fact is- God is for us!

God is for us, but the question arises- If God is all loving and all-powerful, then why does God allow evil and suffering to exist? If He is all powerful shouldn't He be able to stop it and if He doesn't stop it, then how can we be sure that God really loves us? These are deep philosophical questions that we will attempt to scratch the surface of. Paul wants us to know one thing for sure- This all-powerful God does love us!
